How you enjoy life with simple thing?

By simple thing, I mean you do not need to spend a lot yet you can really enjoy yourself. My husband and I bought a DVD on our favourite singer concert. We set up the notebook with our speakers and dim the light in our bedroom. We enjoyed ourselves watching the concert. Do you enjoy yourself by doing some little thing? What is it?

Every Tuesday when I am on the house by myself at about 3.30 I like to watch a DVD and eat some cake and drink some chilled coffee. This gives me something to look forward to and helps me to relax. I have lots of DVDs but will occasioannly buy a new one to watch. I am trying to lose weight at the moment and so the cake and coffee is a small treat for myself.

Hi donna, wow, you really enjoy life! By just reading what you are typing here I can feel that you are enjoying yourself very much! Having time alone is great. I am sure treating yourself cake and coffee while losing weight as a reward means a lot and encouraging oneself to move on too! Good luck and wish that you can reach your goal!

WE do not need extraordinary things to enjoy life...But a good life partner makes the difference ...And , Yes I do enjoy my life , with light semi classical music..

You are right. We do not need something extraordinary. Anything simple and nice can appear to be special too if we do it together with someone special. Hey, enjoy your weekend! :)

no. not really. for many months i have not visited the shopping malls or eating out. its due to my dad's illness. but many time is spend money to enjoy life. may be nice dress, nice food,

How is your dad? Hope he has recovered from the illness by now. :) Yes, sometimes I enjoy myself with certain purchases.

Guess you are right, spending time with our loves no matter in do what will make us happy and we do not even need to spend a penny sometimes. Thanks for your response. By the way, I have just finished watching the concert. ;p

There are a lot of things i call the "little things that fascinate me"... those include doing DVD marathon on weekends, waking up early and wait for the sunrise, or hang out by the bay, wait for the sunset and capture the magnificence in photo.. i also loved collecting free postcards in the mall, and then write at them to my friends. at 27, i still dance in the rain ;-)
