how can i lose weight!!!

i have been struggling for over a year trying to lose impossible weight....i am not extremely heavy, however for as long as i could remember i have always been around 125-130lbs and nowwwwwww i am 160lbs and i am 23 yrs old. i have been in the gym every day participating in aerobics and weight training and still nothing. i have also tried to watch what i eat, but yet again nothing.....
can anyone give me advise on what i can try doing ....or..... what they might have done to lose there weight. thank a lot

First of all it is going to take time, motivation and dedication. Without those three things you are just going to get discouraged. Losing weight is hard to do. I have lost quite a bit of weight but still struggling to loose more.
Make sure you are doing some Cardio workouts, really burning calories. If your like doing wieghts it isn't really burning the calories like it would be with cardio.
When I was really motivated I would really watch what I ate like you said. If I had a hot dog I would make sure I only ate one. Or whatever type of food it was, I would lower the intake of it that I was use to. For instance, if you are used to eating 2 slices of pizza, if you are going to eat pizza make sure you only eat one slice. You could eat a lot more healthier than that I am just saying if you are going to eat something unhealthy make sure you watch how much you eat. Try to shrink your appetite slowly.
What really helped me was that I became I lot more active, I walked everyday for about 40 minutes a day.
You could try to drink more water, eat more fruits.
Also try do to small changes, even though they are small they still help. For example if you drive to your mailbox start walking there.
There are also a lot of different websites that you can get healthy recipes, and tips for losing weight at.

Check out calorie count.com It has really helped me figure out to eat and portion sizes. It has a great support system.It also has a place to log your food in and your activities. I love it.Good luck I hope this helps you.

Losing weight is a common problem and hard to do.I think gaining weight is more easier than losing.I was a little overweight before.I know natural exercise, walking,jogging going to the gym are healthy ways of losing weight but i just can't do it.I was feeling lazy.Then i found a slimming tea in a store while doing our grocery.I tried and i lose about 14 pounds.But it made me threw away many times in a day and was sick of it so i stopped.My hubby told me that everytime he needs to lose weight he just do alot of physical work which i noticed really works because i tried.

How long have you taken to do all these before you see the results? If you have just started for a short period of time,I think you should be patient,keep work hard on exercising and controlling your diet. Sooner or later,you will see the results. I am sure you will succeed one day provided you have the patience and motivation. Nothing comes easy. Good luck!

I have an idea. How about keep a diary of your daily diet: record what you eat in a day and what you do to lose weight. You might want to include plans like weight lifting at least twice a week or something. And don't forget to write down your weight every day. I hope it works. I'm doing this too lol.

Its not an easy task to reduce weight.moreover you must have strong determination too.As you are on diet and in gym everyday you'l certainly reduce.wait and see the results patiently as it takes time.

Girl I wish I had some idea, I had to take steriod shots 2 years ago to get rid of the poison ivy in the hospital and it puts the weight on you, plus the combination of the medicines I take, it is either be skinny and not take the medicine and die or just go on taking them and weigh a ton. AI have tried every thing, doctor tells me it is the medicine, so wht do we do, I think once you pack it on it is not easy to get rid of it. I eat too much of the wrong kinds of food I know, have you tried the cabbage soup, it is suppose to make you lose weigh, through fluid my doctor says it is a lot of fluid.

It sounds like you exercise enough so you need to look at your diet. What I found useful when I was trying to eat healthy was doing an online food diary. After a few days of writing what I ate and when it ws easy to make positive changes. Eating more smaller meals is better. I have three slightly smaller main meals with two snack times inbetween. I find it easy as I love fruit and nuts and wholerain foods. What I need to do more of is drinking water. Also your weight doesn't matter as much as how you feel and look. See your doctor if you are really concerned, sometimes weight gain can be linked to health conditions.

well, dance your way in losing those pounds...dancing is a very effective way of losing such weight,,,just have patience..and tell yourself that you can do it...and you are doing it for yourself...be happy with what you're doing...dance, exercise and eat healthy foods...avoid sweets,and other fatty foods..

It all starts of course with having the determination to do that. You must be patient to because exercise really takes long before you see its results. Also try eating the proper foods rather than starving yourself. It's good that you exercise but don't stress yourself and hurry your body into losing weight because it might do you more harm than good.

If you struggling for how many years just to
minimize your weight I'm also struggling how to gain weight.
Honestly I'm underweight and I'm hoping that someday when I wake up

I understand it is the most difficult to do. It is difficult for me. I learned the secret to lose is start to thinking as thin person. Buy a small clothes and hang it out, so you can look it up everyday and want use it. It would motivate you.
Try eat more organic foods than regular foods. Apple Cider Vinegar and Herbal Teas (green tea, chamomile, yebra Mate). Use some spices on foods to taste instead salt. Try to avoid too much breads, sugar, processed foods. Try eat vegetables and fruits, prefer raw. Use stevia as sweeten foods.
Like as other said about exercise with calories burning exercise will do well than weight lifting. Try to go to swimming pool, beach, or ride a bike. Swimming and ride bike had helped me lose weight.
My weakness that prevent me from losing is emotional eating and addiction eater. I was always hungry because I was very emotional. When you are in emotional, try go take a walk or do activities that help you forgot about foods. Or take healthy fruits and make them as a smoothie would taste better and more satisfying. If you feel crave something sugar, try drink one glass to two glass of fresh water first. It would end your craving sometimes because if you are thirsty, body would want water, but you would thinking of sugar. If you crave something, you can eat little bit to satisfy you, but not too much. If some foods that you couldn't stop eating them, avoid them for a while.
You may try Atkins diet but prefer use organic meats and cheese, so you won't have hormones in your body that will prevent you from losing weight. Atkins diet works for me but not permanent one. Just eat organic foods and eat balanced diet would do better.
Thinking as thin person, eating until you are satisfied, but not full. Do not try empty place when you are almost full. Save foods for next day.
I hope simple tips that I gave you might will help you better than what you were doing.

Simple, dont eat!! lol I'm kidding. my god I'm also 23 years old but my problem is I can't gain weight. Since I was in grade school my weight didn't change, I still carry my 90 pounds I've been statisfied when I gain 20 pounds when I'm in college but since then I stop driking vitamins so here I am now in 90 pounds.
My advice to you now is count your food I mean plenty of rice will make you big also, try to eat food that not so fat but healthy like fish, and fruits. The tecnic to loss weight is in your hand if you want to lose weight you can do that just you have disipline to your self. Don't eat to much.
To me its not hard to lose weight because I know I'm not a fat person. Disipline your self that you don't eat that, you don't eat to much. Diet also is now a good factor because it makes you sick, you have to teach your self to eat the nice food. I hope I can help. Have a nice day

that has been my problem also.. I'm just 5'0 tall and when I was in college i use to weigh around 95 lbs. but eversince i work, i started to gain weight and I am now 117 lbs. I tried not eating much, but I'm quite lazy doing workout/exercises. It bothers me that my weight is not proportioned with my height..

I lose weight when I am in depression. So it is not bad for you can't lose weight. It shows that you are in good mood and good health. It is normal the human gain more and more weight when they become older and older. Just let it be and keep happy all the time.
