Like sushi?How about california rolls?

California roll is just a name. I prefer tamaki roll - soft shell crab roll. But in terms of sushi, I like the Hana Maki - salmon wrap with some rice and mayonnaise. That one is a classic! :D And anything with egg (tamago) is nice too. I don't like the salmon roe though.

I like all sushi. Sometimes I even make a roll empty. Usually I make cucumber or carrot rolls because they are cheep and easy.

Nah. Rolls aren't real sushi. They are a variant. The sushi is actually the pieces of raw fish and other items that are served. I think what is in the California roll is even cooked. Regardless, I LOVE sushi!

I love CA rolls. They are my favorite things to order in a sushi place. I'm actually planning to have them Monday when I get money. Every time I eat in Union Station in Washington D.C., I stop by this really cheap sushi place in the food court. Sushi's way better than Amtrak food.

I think people say that california rolls are not "real" sushi b/c it's about the plainest kind you can get and it's completely cooked. it's often the favorite of those who are too scared to branch out and try some delicious raw fish! If you havent tried anything but the California roll, i strongly suggest that you try something new. i'm telling you, it will be one of the best taste sensations you have ever had in your entire life. no joke. do it.

sushi is great california rolls arent as good as the real thing though i wouldnt classifie sushi as a california roll but there good as well

i thought they were sushi considering its under the sushi section at restuarants and not a special one for rolls or something. but whatever. i love veggi sushi. im not a fan of fish at all. soi always get a veggie one

I love sushi. I especially love tuna sushi. As for those people who tell you California rolls aren't sushi, they are incorrect. Most people hold the misconception that sushi is raw fish. In actuality, raw fish by itself is called sashimi. Sushi is actually just vinegared rice. Usually it's topped with something, be it fish or vegetables.

I think California rolls are my least favorite 'sushi', actually. I prefer nigiri and maki to most of the rolls, and don't tend to order rolls when we go out for sushi. My favorite are eel, squid, and mackerel nigiri. Yum!

I like sushi very much.I can tell you that in japan California rolls is not a real sushi.But i like California rolls very much.I don't like any raw meat in California rolls because the tasty is very strange.I like to put some sauce while eating it.

I'm not so sure about the other rolls but California Maki is definitely not Japanese. Rolls were made, because the idea of eating raw fish with vinegared rice isn't acceptable for some. As far as I know there are a lot of kinds of sushi and maki or roll is one of them.

I don't care if California rolls are real sushi. They are yummy. I like almost all sushi with the exception of the sweet egg.

I like sashimi sushi, the kind with mackerel on it, or more favourably, raw salmon. I love fish so these kinds of sushi are my favourite.

I think so it is a real sushi. Just one of the various variety of sushi. I don't like the sushi because I can't take to it raw fish maybe only the tamago sushi will do. I have tasted also the unagi sushi just dont put inside the wasabi I can eat it. But I love to eat rolls like the california maki, tuna mayo maki, futo maki and unagi maki. Just love them all....
