how many myLot E-mails / day ?

i received huge number of emails from mylot everyday, i made an email exclusive for mylot only. base upon checking i received about 150-200 emails everyday, so far, i have more than 3500 emails in my inbox not yet read. i read one by one and respond to my friends discussions based on the notification i got from myLot.

i have a received a maximum of 42 mails per day once but ma average mails are around 10 to 15 per day...so far i have received only three best responses...and wanna more of them...it's actually good to see people responding to our discussions..

Well, for me, I find it interesting that they now do this. For me though, a lot of the time, it depends on how active I am in here as well. Sometimes I am definately more active than others. What I do appreciate though, is getting the Email alerts of my Friends when they start a New discussion so I can keep track even if I have not been that active in here for the day. But for me, this is a Great feature and addition.

Well, I do want to keep track of the responses I get for the discussions I started, so I leave that on. I also wanted to see the comments on my posts, just in case I need to reply further. As for best responses, I just wanted to see why I was chosen so may reread the discussion. I turn off myLot digest altogether, I'd rather go to the website to check out the discussions. I do get about 10-20 email notifications every day. But I really don't mind it.

I think I would go crazy if I got those emails all the time haha, it would block me from getting to my important emails faster. If I want to see if anyone responded I just come here and check the activity of my discussions, it's that much easier for me. I guess it works for some people, like in your case, but for me, leave me out of it haha. I must have changed my preferences because I do not get any emails like that thank god .

well my inbox gets dumped with emails fom them!!!! i get around 40 to 50 mails per day!! it depends upon the no of posts that u and ur friends create!!!!! happylotting!!!!!!!!!

i just received the mylot digests,, i have'nt been active this past weeks because of my schoolwork.. and sometime i receive comments from my answers and discussions.. its fine with me, i agree that its very helpful in tracking all our comments and the best discussions..

Well i don't keep all the notifications on so i don't really get not even 1 mail every day.

Hi! I get so many emails from mylot alone. Usually I receive around 20 a day. But if I have posted a good discussion I can receive more than 60 emails. Discussions from my friends adds up and it really floods my emails. Its good if I receive a lot of emails that are responses from my post, but other than that its sometimes disappointing if only a notification.

Hello dreamssri I think i receive a lot every day if i am active on mylot with posting.Normally, i always receive about 30 emails from mylot.some ones are about the new discussions from my friends,some ones are the responses notification which i post for my friends.some ones are the messages which i send or receive the friend request on mylot.Just depends on how active you are on mylot to post your opinions.lol good luck

I changed my preferences so that does not happen to me. I am always connected in MyLot so is no use to receive emails of something I am seeing right here. It really annoys me, it is for waste of time!

I am receiving a 100 of e-mail here in Mylot for 53 friends that i have here in Mylot and it is including responses from my discussion, comments but I do like it for it is very easy for me to check if someone replied or give comments or receiving new things from MyLot.......

Oh we are same but i get 95 this morning and i think this is the smaller i get from mylot.I usually get 150 above .They send some of your interest discussion,post that you reply and notice that your post or responce have someone responce too.

It is helpful though but honestly it is kind of tiring checking mails. So what I did is change my preference in my mylot page. I am always logged on to myLot anyway so I do see and check my profile as well as my stats whenever I get responses and requests.

Aside from the myLot Digest emails and "Best response" notifications; I have all other notifications turned off. Thank God they allowed us to do this! lol. I had all notifications active in the beginning but the number of emails I was receiving every day was driving me insane so I quickly changed this. I think it is a useful tool yes; it's just not for me!

it depends. on few days i find there are atleast 30 mails from mylot. be it new discussion by friends , or any response i got for my discussions and so on.somedays it vary to lower side a swell.

hi dreamssri,today morning i reach 75 mylot e-mails in my mail. But daily i receive above 100 emails from mylot. take care.

you have choosen me as your friend and I hace accepted the same now it is the duty of both us to rate the discussions of each other

I get 20 to 30 emails a day. It annoyed me once when I got more than 60. That includes the new added friends email. But I think the emails are really useful, especially the mylot digest, I find discussions which I can respond to in digests.

I like to get the emails when someone replies to my discussions but I turn off the notifications for when a friend does something. That's just annoying.
