Sophia2007 If I only responded to discussions that were interesting than I would never make any money. If the person rambles on than I tend to scan past most of what they say.

Sophia2007 I find it easiest to open up to my spouse. We are designed by our creator to crave intimacy. To somehow connect with someone in such a way that the two of you can help bear one another's burdens.

Sophia2007 No, you are not selfish. You have the right to raise your family in a single family environment without the overbearing presence of you in-laws. If you have already conveyed your honest feeling with your husband than it may be time to give an ultimatum.
