WHICH OS is best.....WINDOWS -LINUX-MAC

I prefer Linux because Linux is a command oriented were you can use Linux by using commands you will know about DOS commands and you will get the architecture to develop Linux, Linux is the most using operating system by the world.

In My Opinion, Linux is The best for Geeks as well as Normal users. In linux, Ubuntu is recommendable for non techies...its is too user friendly as well as cooler than Vista.. You get a lot of Eye-candy stuff without sacrificing the performance in Ubuntu... i am a regular Linux user, and the only reason I keep windows in My Computer is for Games...Although you have some compatibility programs available, u cannot play NFS or Age of Empires as smooth as in Windows...for anything else, Linux is more than enough... There is a vast collection of Open source programs freely installable available for windows... And the Net Browsing is Far more safer in Linux than in Windows---virus makers seems to be least interested in Linux.... So I recommend linux.... dunno much abt Mac

We can actually create a simple graph or leveling for these OSes This drawing is actually intended to be a scale. Geek --------Techinical user---------Ordinary User Linux---------Windows----------------MAC By Geek it involves persons that knows programming or anything related to computers, networks etc. by Technical user, those normal people who can be consider as ordinary user but also knows something about computers. and for MAC is just for user. SO for example if a certain person is halfway to Geek and techinical user side then he uses Linux and windows. If a person knows something about computer but only a little, he is on Technical-Ordinary User site therefore uses Windows or MAC.

the most user friendly windows. except vista. then about linux, the user friendly is ubuntu. this is for my case. each users have each type of aproach for their os.
