kiranv06 thats not a problem... the problem is that the virus is loaded when windows start... this is made possible with the registry.. to remove this, there is a simple way. get into the windows safe mode. this is to restrict startup programs. even virus...

kiranv06 there is a more simple way... u just boot your system using an ubuntu live disk. you can access to your hard drives from the "Computer" icon. Then Use Places"search for files"(You find the places tab on top of the page) and type in the text box...

kiranv06 I like using External Mouse attached to a laptop because external mouse is more good for our hands and fingers. Excessive use of Laptop touchpad is stressful for me. another prob, how do you get your touchpad changed in India for a dubai-Make Laptop?

kiranv06 If u have atleast 512 MB ram, then Ubuntu works well. Among various distros I've tried yet(I've tried almost all popular distros), Ubuntu seemed to be most reliable for Daily Use. It has impressive looks and cool 3D eyecandy(only if u have graphics...
