A lot of people like to watch movies, wether it be comedy, action or drama. But where do they actually watch their favorite movies to they go to the cinemas for the premier or just wait for the DVD release orjust wait a couple of months and wait for it to be aired on cable tv.For me i just wait for the DVD because i am really not an out going person i would prefer to be just at home and relax than have the trouble of going to the premier.so how about you, where do you watch your movies?have a nice day.

We also, usually wait for the DVD to come out. It's much more practical financially since we have 4 children, and what I would pay for one night out at the movies easily pays for the DVD that we can watch again and again. We also swap our DVDs with friends and family so everyone makes out well. In addition, we have satellite TV and as a special treat we will get a Pay-Per-View movie on the TV and order pizza. Ya know, I can't even remember the last time I went out for a movie?

The same, mostly I watched movies in DVD. Only sometimes I watched in the cinema that is when I really wanted to see it in big screen. As for cable tv, it will takes a long time for the movies I like to air it there. So usually, I watch it in DVDs, it was more convenient and cheap than going in the cinema and more earlier than in the cable tv.

I am a movie lover but find it hard to spare my time to watch cinema so I choose to wait for the DVD because then I can enjoy it whenever I have time (ussually before sleep at night).
The best thing for now is that I dont have to buy or rent the DVD because in the hotel I've worked, whenever there is a new DVD collection for the library, I'll borrow it a night or two to watch at home.. What a beautiful life I had..

I am definitely a movie lover, and me and my fiance try to watch as many movies as we can, even though we do not always have time to watch a movie cause we are always busy with various tasks, but when we do watch movies we prefer to either watch a movie on DVD or on television because movies at the theaters are too expensive and we will only go to the theater if it is a movie we really want to see,or if someone else invites us to go with them.

It costs a lot to go see a movie nowadays. If there's a really good one, we'll take the kids to the theatre. If we can wait, we'll wait till it comes out at the local $1.50 movie theatre. If we can wait longer, we'll rent the DVD.

Totally agree with you shaun72,instead of getting to dress up and go through the crowd on a movie premier, there is always an easier way like the one you responded.Waiting for it to be released on DVD is a great idea and practical idea too.Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

We don't go to the movie theater very often. I couldn't even tell you the last movie that I watched in the theater. We usually just wait for it to come out on dvd and then we go rent it at the video store. Sometimes we watch movies on satellite too though. We have HBO and cinemax and sometimes they have good movies on there.

I also agree with you in the point that being in the comfort of your own home and watching DVD's rather than being in the cinemas has a lot of advantage including the right to pause the movie when you need to take a break is a good one, also it is very practical because you dont need to spend the amount of money watching in cinemas that when youbuy a DVD and also the effort of going to the cinemas is ni\othing compared to just sitting back and watching it at home, thank you for your response and have a nice day.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. However, for me it is my home where I watch all the movies. It is very comfortable, economical, time saving and without any problem, whatsoever.

If its a little kid movie that my kids are clamoring about I'll take them to the cinema. Usually we just rent from redbox, its a faster way and its cheaper. If I really liked the movie per the theater or if I rent it more than once I'll buy it at the store. Sometimes I just find it on iTunes because I watch it as many times as I want and the popcorn doesn't cost $50.00. Check out my article about redbox on Associated Content. Oh, and welcome to myLot. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/854869/a_review_of_the_redbox_dvd_rental_service.html?cat=40

We used to go to the movie cinema every friday before and have fun watching the big screen with popcorn and soda. But now,we seldom do that because we've been really very busy lately.Sometimes we just buy a dvd and watch at home. When we are out of town which is mostly every weekends and stay over we will just watch movies on cable tv.

If you're gonna ask me that question. Well it depends on the movie, I watch great movies in cinemas with my friends when we have time because I extremely appreciate them in cinemas like "transformers" or "iron man" (they are worth to be watched in cinemas). Because I can't appreciate them that much if I'm gonna watch them at home. I also watch dvds at home but I only watch series episodes like smallville, prisonbreak, and greys anatomy because if you want to trace the whole story without missing any episode, dvds are best the answer.=)

I usually watch movies on telly at home, in my own time, and rather alone. I do not like to be disturbed and I would like to have a nice time when watching a movie I like. However, some times I actually go to the cinema and see a movie when it is new.
And this year we are waiting for Harry Potters next movie. I hope it will come up soone.

When the movie's really big, like the Dark Knight, I make it a point to see it in the cinema. Otherwise, I enjoy buying dvds. There are a lot of pirated DVDs being sold near my area so it's easier and cheaper for me to just watch a dvd. Most new movies will be available on dvd after a couple of weeks so I just wait for it. I never watch movies on cable tv because I don't like being interrupted by commercials. And with the cheap dvds and free movies available for download, I don't have a need for cable tv.

Hi, Normally I will wait for the DVD because nowadays there are just to many movies around and going to the cinema is crowded with people. It will be cheaper to rent, download from web or buy the DVD.Moreover we can save some cost if we have a huge family and share with our friends. We can also watch our movies few time just to enjoy our favourite actor.I go to the movies only on special occasion.Have a nice day :)
