I want to know to everyone if your salary enough for your daily expenses nowadays? Its obvious that these days all the prices were going up and yet the salary is not that high. How did you make your budget in this times of crisis? Are you getting the enough salary for you and your family?

It depends on how you define "enough". I am the sole breadwinner for my family of four. My salary is not a lot--better than many people but we are certainly not living in luxury. In fact, we lead a very bare-bones existence.
We always keep the essentials covered. My salary pays the rent each month (heat and electricity are included) and I make enough to ensure that we are well-fed. We don't have a car so gas is not really a concern for us, but the drawback is that we are restricted in when and where we can travel (it must be on a bus route). We have no credit cards so we cannot purchase big-ticket items (furniture, electronics etc) unless we save the money for them, but at the same time we have no outstanding debts.
Out of necessity I have learned to be very creative in budgeting. I like to think I have developed a keen eye so we can find great deals at thrift stores for clothing and household items. With careful planning we can even indulge in a special day out once in a while.
I suppose you could say that my salary is "enough" since we are getting by on it. However a bit extra would be nice to give us that extra wiggle room each month.

No it is not.
That's why I was looking for some alternatives over the net, even it is small
as long as it can helps me in a month.
You're right, all of the stuffs we need here are getting tough in price.
Starting from the LPG gas, and electric bills.
We need to work hard and find some sources of income for us to remain
competitive.

No for the salaried class, their salary cannot be said to be enough. More money we get as our salary the more we want to have because our desires cannot die down, they keep on increasing so more money is always require to fulfill our desires. Moreover, pricing are going up and it becomes difficult to manage the affairs.

I want to have more , to excel, and to aim higer on what i am now. Life is a continuous change. Each one of us want to reinvent ourselves in order for us to reach success in life. My husband and I are actually having a harder time paying for things now than we were a year ago when I made half as much money. It seems like the prices on everything are so high now. Maybe I'm just bitter because I am underpaid for the work I do at my job!

well it's pretty hard to define the word enough isn't it? what is enough to me might not be enough for another. my salary is enough to put food on the table, put clothes on our back and still allow for a little savings. this is good enough for me already. i try to avoid buying food stuff that is expensive. going for what is in season is always a good way to cut food expenses. walking instead of taking a shuttle is another way to save. taking care of our health is the best way to save as medical bills are getting exorbitant. cheers ;p

I am a state worker and you know for a fact that if it is a rank and file position, salary of government employees are too small, especially for a big family like mine. And to cope up with high price commodities, I have to have a second job. Unfortunately, my second job will be terminated by the end of the month, so I have to look for another second job. Hope to get a replacement before October arrives. (neildc @ red/90/1799)

I do believe in the economics policy that when a person's salary is high, his expenses is also high. I have a salary which is reasonable enough for my work and I have benefits to count on but I need to budget it wisely because I am the type of person who loves to buy things instantly regretting later that I don't need it. But I have a motto when it comes to it: spend according to your means. I don't want to go over my limit and borrow money from other person because It is not wise to borrow and the more you do it, the more you will not be contented with your income.

I agree on you regarding borrowing money and regarding the expenses of people in terms of thier salary cause I also had experienced that before when my salary was high I had a high expenses too and when I got a small salary I had limited expenses as well so it's really a matter of budgetting.

Honestly I don't think it is enough if you base it on the skills and training that I have. Knowing how to write and speak fluently French and Spanish is really a big advantage for me and a lot of call centers are offering jobs to me. It's just that I really don't want working in graveyard shifts, that's why I don't accept offers from them. How I wish someone would offer me a job that really pays me for my skills ans of course a job that I would love to do as well.

NO! Salary is never enough. Lol!
In my country, prices of everything shoot up like crazy, but our salary maintain like the same old day.
I start to budget everything so i can minimize my using. No more extra books, no more extra outside meal with my sister, no more this and no more that. Only stay at home after work and earning some extra income from myLot! Lol!

now we have no other option We have to Reduce the Costs Which We used to spend For shopping and other purposes

At the moment things are really tight in our family financially as well. But work hours are picking up and things will get back to normal again. I like to have extra for savings etc each month, but with high prices and gas prices especially this summer it has put a strain on many of us I think.

If I had to live by myself, I would be a burden on society. Fortunately I live at home with people who love me and provide me with what I need when I can't afford it myself. Praise God for a loving family.

hi ayessa
nowadays as the prices are going up,how much we are earning is not enough.
if u are having high salary then also it should not be enough....
as we are designing are needs according to salary.
then we will not strict to our basic needs .
we will opt for luxaries.
salary can't be enough what it should be...
take care.
