Which of the two blogging sites do you prefer? Blogger or Wordpress?
Personally, I have known blogger for so long already and Wordpress is not that known to me. And I use Blogger now. I haven't tried Wordpress. But they say Wordpress has better features than Blogger. Or is the opposite true? I don't know since I haven't tried. Insights anyone?

I've been using Wordpress as a stand-alone blog since shortly after the software was introduced. I'm used to having total control over my templates and the code, so I'm not really fond of either Blogger or the Wordpress.com blogs. I maintained a Blogger blog for a client last year and I had to jump through hoops to do things like insert a feed into a sidebar and create static pages, things I can do with just a couple of lines of code in Wordpress. I like Blogger's dashboard better than I like Wordpress.com's if you're managing multiple blogs, though. It's far easier to switch back and forth between blogs though their interface. I know that both teams are very actively working to make things as easy as possible for users while maintaining server security for everyone, so it may come down to which community and feel you prefer.

Hello Bryanski!
It depends really. If you can get your own domain, Wordpress is really good. It's got a lot of customisations built in and extensions which you can add if you wish. I like wordpress as well because it gives me the options to use categories instead of tags.
Blogger is great as a beginner's tool, and if you're content to just write and go, then it would be a better tool for you, rather than switching to Wordpress.
If you want to give Wordpress a try without getting your own domain, sign up for an account at Wordpress.com. It'll give you a rough idea of just what WP is.
I hope this helps!
