I often don't care when someone snores here in our house. Well, it really doesn't bother me because it isn't that loud for me to be disturbed but when they do snore so loud. I wake them up frightened that they might be having a difficulty breathing, they're having a nightmare or worst is cardiac arrest. LOL Am I so paranoid? I just do this because I also want to sleep peacefully without the snoring.
Can you sleep when you're sleeping with Mr. or Mrs. SNOREman/ SNOREwoman? LOL

It depends. If I'm exhausted, then I'd have no trouble sleeping no matter how loud he snores.
But there are times when his snores really keep me awake - when that happens, I would poke him in the ribs. He would move and lie on his side; then the snoring would stop - he snores when he's sleeping on his back.

Actually, that's the only thing that annoys me when I sleep. I cant share a room with somebody who snores. I can sleep with loud speaker volume turned on, i can sleep with lights turned on or off, I can even sleep in a sitting position, but not, definitely not when hear a person snore. That's the worst for me. I should be able to sleep first before someone snores.

I can't stand the sound of snoring. I can't sleep if someone is snoring. Usually I will close my ears or I just wake up and do something else beside sleeping. I will not wake that person up when they are snoring. I will tell them later that they are snoring when they sleep. Luckily nobody in my family snores when they sleep.

I cannot sleep with someone snoring next to me or even in the same house if it is loud. My brother snores so loud and so do his kids that you'd think there were mad grizzly bears attacking the house. They are very loud. I stayed the weekend and I didn't get a wink of sleep the whole weekend. My husband only snores once in a while depending on how tired he is and when he snores I roll him to his side or give him a elbow it usually jars him awake enough to move and then he stops snoring. He does me the same way. I rarely snore or atleast i think I do, well if I didn't I am sure my husband would have had threatened me with a dirty sock in my mouth like he did my brother..

I can sleep if I am already asleep before he starts! If he is snoring when I come to bed then I have no chance and I have to cough or rock the bed to get him to turn over or wake up a bit so that he stops. Then I quickly close my eyes and try to drift off before he starts again.
I nearly taped him the other night because he was making such a strange noise I thought it would be fun to record it and use it as a ringtone to see if he knew what it was. When I got my phone though he woke up and stopped!

My husband snores pretty loudly. I usually will just make him roll over. So long as he's not snoring directly in my face, it's not a problem. I guess I just got used to it. He says I snore too, but rarely does it ever keep him up.

I sleep with a snorer. In the beginning it was hard, but now I find it comforting to hear that chainsaw going as I'm drifting off to sleep. My chainsaw snorer is my dog Yafa.

NO!!!! and this is a really big problem for me right now. i share a room with my sister and she snores :( she's been feeling stressed out and sick lately and she snores because she has a stuffy nose! actually when she snores while i'm already fast asleep, it doesn't wake me. her snoring is like a steady wheeze or "growl" (i don't know how to describe it really). when i'm trying to sleep or trying to get back to sleep, then it's a problem. usually when she snores i would poke her and when she changes position she stop. but right now, after changing positions she would just get back to snoring :( i really hope she gets better soon as i think i'm gonna be the next sicky what with my lack of sleep.
it's funny though because my dad snores and sometimes his snores sort of "explode" and once when i was sick and i slept in my parent's room, my dad did his snore explosion and it was so loud it woke me up with my heart beating really fast. it was scary hahaha

My husband and I both snore. I also move around alot, and prefer blankets without sheets and hubby like sheets and hardly no blankets. He also loves to sleep with the tv on, and I want silence and darkness. This is why we don't sleep together. When ever we try it's basically whoever gets to sleep first gets to sleep and the other will toss and turn all night, or finally give up and go to the other room to sleep. So normally we just don't try to. He sleeps in the living room and I sleep in the bedroom

I got used to it when my boyfriend would snore... then when we broke up I had a hard time sleeping without some kind of noise lol. There were some nights that I went and slept on the couch because I couldn't sleep with him snoring that loud. Some nights I would try my best to fall asleep before him hahaha. I think its an over time thing for some people and others just never get used to it.

I can't sleep with a snorlax beside me. The sound of it makes me sick, its such a big disturbance. This is the reason why I get my own room, to exclude myself with all those snores. Everybody wants a very good night sleep, and its not possible with all those snores. It's worst than having a nightmare. So distracting.
