Is Review Stream a Scam?

So, I spent 30 minutes writing this long thought out review for a pet store and when I finally tried to submit it and I got this message that basically said my review wasn't valuable and they didn't want it. Has anyone else used this site? Has this happened to them? Can't believe I wasted all that time for nothing.

I write for Review Stream and I'm very close to payout. There are times when I receive that horrible message, but it's just their way to say that you have not enough words. So what I do is go to word count tool and check the number of words. Then I add a few more sentences. You need to write at least 200 words for each review. You don't have to think too much about it. Just write! I spend 10-20 minutes writing each review and so far some of them has been paid $2 while others at bulk rate. It really depends on the category. There are some people here at myLot who has been paid, even three times. So it's not a scam. They may sound a little rude, but I guess they are trying to deter one-liner reviews.

Okay, thanks. I couldn't find any minimum requirements that I'd missed, but that might of been it. I think my review was just shy of 200 words. I'll be sure to write it with word first in the future to see if that makes a difference. Their payout is a bit high though, don't you think?

The minimum payout is quite high, I almost gave up. I wrote a couple of reviews at the beginning of the year and got bulk rate all the time. I dismissed them as scam. But then I joined myLot and friends here told me they have been paid. So I'm resuming my review writing since last month, until I reach payout. It should be quite soon. All the best! Will tell you when I receive the money. The best part is once you request, the payment is very fast, within a few hours.

I got the message, "we'll read your review and notify you in 2 to 7 business days". Never heard anything else.

i had the same experience the first time i used review stream. I was kinda offended but then I also took it as a challenge. I tried again, I wrote a review for some medicine. It is approximately 300 words. They said it would take up to 72 hours to approve or reject it. After 2 days, they paid me $2 for it. So I wrote some more. 200-300 word review, maybe 4 to 5 reviews a day. I reviewed our television, our blender, etcetera...in 9 days, i reached the payout. My very first was $54 dollars I guess. Once I reached the payout, I wrote them a letter requesting for the payment, it was credited to my paypal account in less than 24 hours.
I am already on my 4th payout. I have been paid $150 in 3 weeks.
SO it is not a scam. I have a copy of my first payout if =)
try again...its so easy to earn there.

This was a good read, I just wrote a few things for them. It's nice to know they are not a scam!

I think review stream is a joke. They certainly say they are a lot better than what they really are. I submitted the most comprehensive, detailed, specific review on a computer that anyone could write and they rejected it saying it was not specific enough. When I emailed them, I got vague responses or nothing at all. They obviously do anything they can to reject your review and have you resubmit it at the bulk rate. I knew there was a catch, I just had to see what it was for myself. I submitted another review and it was immediately denied even at the bulk rate. The message said "we don't want your review, send it to someone else". Thats a nice comment to send someone for wasting their time. Stay away from review stream unless you have a lot of time to waste.

superjae I don't know exactly what this review is all about and I just knew it from all of you but in chuckjr3 case the tricky is they don't tell you how good you are on writing a review or how much time you spend to make an article they just seems to be clever enough to tell the writer the truth like "hey your words is less than 200!"

ReviewStream is not a cam, but you have to write 250 words for them to accept your reviews. It takes a long time to reach payout, so I'm still writing for them, but I'm looking for alternatives so I don't just have to rely on ReviewStream.

Reviewstream is not a scam. I have experienced a couple of times when they rejected my reviews, then I made them better and submitted and they accepted. Other times, they simply accepted.
If your review is rejected, it simply means that it is not good enough. Please dont jump straight to a conclusion and say that it is a scam.
A good tip when writing for reviewstream is to look out for the hottest topics requested by readers on the left-hand side. Usually travels and electronics are very much valued. Also use original words and be as frank as possible. They really like that. The maximum they pay per review is $2.50 and the payout amount is $50.
It does not matter how much time you spend on writing the review. If it is not good, the only answer you get is a rejection. It is like preparing for an exam. It does not matter how much time you spend. If you prepare in the wrong way, you are unlikely to get the pass grade.
So good luck and hope this helps.

No its not a scam.I haven't paid by reviestream but a lot of testimonials from users in there that they are paid.We just have to work hard to reach the minimum payout.Review stream is a good site and I guess we can really earn in there.
Share it in here whenever you are paid.ok?
