I have several friends here that are also on Gather, and friends on Gather who would like me to add them here. I think that makes a lot of sense really. I am on several websites, with several friends. Do you have friends that you see on several websites? Which websites? Do you want to be my Gather friend, or my MyLot friend?

Thanks, I feel the same. This came up at Gather, and someone said I should look her up over here. I have been here so long, but for the life of me, I do not know how to look someone up from a 144,000 users. She has not responded here, but did send me a friend request, so obviously she had better luck than I did. I found a friend earlier this week whose grandparents used to be my bosses, rather she found me because I mentioned McPherson.

That's me!!! So glad I found you. And I think that is just so random that out of 145,000 people I come across the one person that worked with my Grandma and Grandpa. I am still amazed at that! Have a great evening!

I am happy to have you for a mylot friend, I would be happy to have you for a Gather friend too. I think I signed up a long time ago. I just haven't had the time to check it all out. I need to, I have heard that you can make some decent money over there, is that true????? I am totally on my own with no income 
I have been selling on ebay, so far that is going good. My goal is to be able to make enough money online to support myself. I am trying to hold off going out and getting a job, my moms health is not real good and she relies on me alot. I am the only one she has here in town to help here. It sure would be nice to have enough money to where you didn't have to worry about eating and paying the bills. If I did join gather I would be grammasmagic over there.

Some people make quite a bit over there. I do not have it all figured out myself. Like mylot, you need to request friends, lots of them. I think you get paid on page views. Frankly, I make the most, it seems, on Wellness360, or at least the easiest, and I am doing something for me when I am doing it. I only work part time, lots of drama in hubby and my job situations in the last year or so. Remember, though, that you need to be paying into Social Security to look out for your future. If I remember correctly you are my age or even younger. I will search on your name, I just requested Thoroughrob.

Here I found your discussion that you started regarding Gather. I will have to add the one's that are at gather that mentioned it here in this discussion, but I will have to do it at a later time since right at the moment I am on dial up and it gets to be very aggravating with the slowness of it.
Catcha there at Gather. If anyone that responds to this discussion that wants to add me here or at gather, my screen name is the same at both places, just mention in the invite that you know me from mylot.

I found myLot first, and love it best.
The trend is a little different on Gather, and some different things are encouraged as posts. Or at least they are allowed as posts. It does not feel as connected, as far as I am concerned, as MyLot. Glad you are on my friend list here.

I love it when people use the same screenname and sometimes the same avatar from site to site, so that friends can keep track of eachother.

I kept looking at your avatar on Gather, and then finally checked your profile, and it was good to know I had another friend there. I do not earn as readily there as here, and I have not studied up why yet, but I will get there. I have cashed out one time, but I want more this time.LOL

The way myLot is set up it is more connected. If I was only doing one it would be myLot. I try different sites from time to time. Some people do other forums, but to me nothing is as good as MyLot, but I have friends who prefer Gather.

I guess it also depends a lot on the particular person's interests. Like, if you are more into photography and posting pictures I would think that Gather would be more up someones alley. However, if you prefer more communication or writing, then I'd think that somebody might rather participate in myLot. I do like photography too and myLot does allow uploading of photos so it is good for both aspects of my interests.

It does get a little confusing at times, but I've been trying to supplement our families income. I don't work outside the home. I joined several of the site recently. I joined wellness 360 in July and will be able to redeem my points for $45 October 1st.

I am on gather too and this is my real name. How can you tell who is who, if they have different user names. I am also on Wellness 360 but with a hidden username alternative and on Platinum Lounge under a different user name. I just joined BoomJ which is not the same as Boomertowne was. I am connected to Dnbuster on 3 sites, but don't know about anyone else

I go into "People" and search on your User Name, or to find me you could search on Garden Gerty. It would direct you to posts by "Heather E.", but the tab with my user name would say Garden Gerty. I am not doing the community on Wellness 360, yet, I get a little distracted sometimes.

I had never heard of Gather before now so I went over & signed up. I sent you a friend request. I wish I would have known you could have gotten credit for me, I would have signed up under you! I am not sure about referrals on Gather. My daughter used to be on, but decided she needed to work on other things more, like loving the grandbaby, and taking a writing class and writing a book. I have lots of sites I have at least dabbled in. Today I wrote an article for someone who contacted through here. Gather can be really serious, or really fun. Go through and request some of these others. Danish Canadian is there a lot.

Okay I had to look before I commented to make sure I have not alre=ighty lefta comment. Pay no mind to me. I notice I made a comment on two other threads I had already comments on earlier in the week today.
I am a member of Gather and have been for over two years now. I would love to be your gather friend and MyLot if I am not already. As I really enjoy both sites.
