I am almost 2 months pregnant, I think. And right now I am always on the verge of vomiting but I can't, even I wanted to. I can't eat because I always feel dizzy and feel like vomiting.
What can I do to feel fine eventhough I am not really ok?
Is there a way to stop vomiting? Is there a technique you've used to be able to vomit, I really find it hard to do that.

I think it's just normal for pregnant woman to throw up. I think they refer it to as "morning sickness". I don't think there's nothing else you can do but to react to how your body feels. I don't really know anything about pregnancy since I haven't experienced that, but if you throw up just try to eat as many as you can or whatever you want, just don't over eat though or it will be harder for you to throw up. I suggest you drink plenty of water.

As much as I want to eat, I can't because I have lost my appetite maybe its because of the dizziness and vomiting. I never forget to drink water but I usually vomit it afterwards, just like the foods that I've taken. How long does this last?

Yes, my first pregnancy was like that. Whatever i eat i threw it up no matter how little it is. Its really a stage in pregnancy especially your are in your first trimester. You will get better after your first trimester. Just eat whatever you feel like eating and you will be fine. Happy mylotting and goodluck on your pregnancy!

I'm in the same boat! I'm three days away from being eight weekls pregnant and I constantly feel sick and dizzy. It's terrible but it passes! The second trimester is when it gets easier!

Thats not how to treat a baby in one's womb. And I am sure I won't do it nor advice it to other people so that they would feel better. I am not mad at you, I just don't get it why your friend would tell you such a thing. But thanks for your comment on my discussion.

Hi dear
I am also 6 motnhs pregnant and had gone through this phase in the first 3 months of my pregnancy. This is very normal condition and if you are happening this condition then you should think that you are having a normal pregnancy. This phase will get over by the end of the third month most probably.
Even you dont feel like eating anything, but you should eat for your baby. Eat anything which you want to eat. Do not think that this is not healthy, eat even if you feel like eating fast food, but eat.
If you have this vomiting sensation in the morning, then you should keep a low calorie biscuit near your bed and eat atleast 2 biscuits before stepping out of the bed in the morning. This will make you feel better in the morning. And eat in small intervals.

Oh Is that so, I am sorry I am not aware of such kind of problem. You should listen to the doctor whatever the doctor tells you is right. Though you should avoid taking medicines during your pregnancy.

What's frustrating is that my gums are swolen now and it has some puss in it. I am almost over with the vomiting but now I have a more difficult problem which is tooth ache. I consulted an ob-gyne but the only medicine she could give is paracetamol for the pain and cloxacillin for the swolen gums.

I had the same trouble both times when I was pregnant. Second time vomiting continued till the fifth month started, I could only eat plain bread and boiled potatoes with salt and nothing else. There are medicines available if you ask your doctor he will give you them to you to control vomiting. My mom had given me lemon and some black salt to lick whenever I felt like vomiting and yes even ice creams help stop vomiting. Try it out.

try the lemon and black salt too, its really tasty and tingling , did you ask your gyanae for the medicine to stop vomiting , I have an aversionto medicines so I never took it , infact in my first pregnancy, I used to see that tablet and go and go and vomit then my mom told me to throw it away , the day I did that I stopped vomiting to, lol. I just can not take any medicines, even vitamins too, I just survived on lots of fruits in both my pregnancies. I used to have two bananas on empty stomach and a cup of milk everyday (after my vomiting had stopped), till eightth month then reduced it to just one banana and milk. This helped me to get complete nutrition for my baby, as its rich in iron and calcium. Both my babies weighed 3.68 and 4 kgs and no dotor could believe that I didn't gain weight myself. The trick was to have bananas early in the morning so any extra calories you gain are burned up through out the day but body still gets full iron and calcium. Have a happy pregnancy and eat fresh and healthy diet for your baby.

I can't imagine myself going through 3 months of vomitting. I feel my life is being drained out of me, it's just makes me feel so helpless. I can't even cook or go to the market because I feel like I am gonna throw up or fall. I'll try the ice cream part which I think would be the nicest thing about this pregnancy, hope it works.

You think you might be pregnant? You better go get a test to make sure and then go see a Dr.
If you are pregnant this is what my Dr told me when I had severe vomiting with my first child she said to take Vitamin B6 I did and then managed to hold down some fried potatoes and it got better.
You do need to go see a Dr about it if your not pregnant than he can give you some medicine to help you stop vomiting.

You are just experiencing morning sickness, and its perfectly natural,so do not worry about it,just relax and try to focus onother things, the baby that is tucked inside of you, that joy of the first cuddle. For the first few weeks of both of my pregnancies I was feeling very sick ,for a good few hours from when I got out of bed,but as the day wore on the sicky feeling faded.I wouldnt think of trying to make yourself sick, its not good for you,yes you may have an overwhelming feeling that you need to be sick, but just try to ride through it,and the feeling will eventually go.but good luck anyway x

When I was pregnant I was vomiting most of the time. At that time I did not know ginger is a good natural treatment for nausea. I suggest you take ginger drink to stop vomiting. Nowadays sometimes I feel like vomiting when I had my menstruation and I just take ginger drink to stop it.

I really feel for you... in my first trimester I felt the exact same way that you did I was nauseous from the moment I opened my eyes in the morning till the moment I closed my eyes at night. I wasn't able to vomit either and my eating was limited at best. I found that having smaller snacks through out the day really helped me to put down even a little bit of food. Another thing that really helped me was smoothies and juices made from vegetables and fruits. I found it some how easier to drink my nutrients rather than eat them. Some women do end up having to go on a certain antibiotic but its name escapes my mind right now because I have serious baby brain going on right now as I am due literally any day now. I wouldn't suggest trying to make yourself throw up though even though I know you think it will make you feel better in the mean time. Nausea and all day sickness is a very common part of the first trimester of pregnancy and you can look forward to feeling better pretty soon. If worse comes to worse and you find yourself not being able to put anything down I would suggest talking to your doctor or midwife and see what they have to say about the whole situation. Congratulations on the pregnancy and I hope you feel a lot better really soon.

first of all,i think your hiding this from your parents right?
it's better for you to let them know, but if your
not yet ready and you dont want to rush things, i hope this advices
could help you..
first, determine whether you are really pregnant or not..
ask your boyfriend (or you can do it by yourself) to buy
you a pregnancy test kit..
if your shy to do it,asked a friend who is willing to buy it..
its over the counter nowadays so you could
easily pick one and pay for it..
no need to ask assistance from the pharmacist..
have you ever tried using one?
you use this by testing the urine you expel first thing in th morning..
if you're pegnant, tell your parents about it,
they may get mad but they will eventually understand..
second,if your not pregnant, determine the probable cause of dizziness and
vomiting?over fatigue?stress?anemia?
the next steps will depend on the results whether your prenant or not..
don't take medicines if your not sure about
Your condition..
i wish you the best..
you can get through this..
stay strong..

Nope you are not. My mom know about it, I am open about my pregnancy and she even know who my boyfriend is. In fact my boyfriend helps in my mom's monthly needs because he is separated with my dad. I already used a pregnancy kit that's why I knew that I was pregnant. Thanks for your comment joiemarvic.

Out of 5 pregnancies, i only experienced the nausea and vomiting on one. The doctor recommended me to eat saltines or toast. It was so bad that I actually kept a package of saltines on my nightstand. It wasn't a cure but it did help. In most cases this feeling disappears after the first 3 months. In my case, I was sick right up till the day I had her. Not a fun time at all. Hope this passes for you.

Actually to be very frank I never had this problem in my pregnancy time and I thank god for it.Next thing is that be cool and never get tensed and I am sure all will go well.Take care and eat well.Dont let ur stmach be empty and make sure that you have lots of fluids as it will really help you.It is just the first three months you get to face these problems but then after that you will really enjoy the pregnancy time and you can feel the baby moments which is really a gift. All the best once againa nd congrats.Read books, listen to music as that would help you not to think too much and it is also good for the baby.
Regards

Good for you seeths. As much as I want to eat I don't have the urge nor the ability to eat that much. I feel like when I eat I'll throw up instantly. I only intake about 3-5 spoons of food every meal and I drink lots of water. Thanks for the advice and for congratulating me. Hope I'll be fine in the following weeks. I can't read books for now coz I am feeling dizzy just sitting doing nothing so I think reading will make me more dizzy
