Smileys...

hi halez! i've always wanted to use smileys because i am so jealous of how other mylotters could lavishly play with them on their discussions. but i guess i could only start using them until i reach my 200th post. aawwww... so sad... but i'm definitely looking forward to it. just a few more posts to go.

I use the smileys and do the shorthand version too . the computer language like lol. ty yw things like that

Hi Zelmarq, Smileys rock! They sort of defuse a tense situation and help you make light of things and spread the smiles. Before we had those pretty icons, I use normal e.g. :-), ^^, =), etc. I won't want to do without them.

A mylotter will get her/his smileys when he/she reaches the 500 posts, I was wondering why zelmarq nobody tell you that, nor you have found out not until recently. Smileys can be found at MYLOT CODE right beside when you type something, replying or starting a discussion. Another feature when we reached at 500th post you can also add photos as well on the add an image below mylot code, you can use bold,italics and underline too along with the smileys. Smileys are cool, as depicted by this little guy out here -- , we have 25 total smileys in all that can be used here in mylot.

I enjoy puting smileys on my post there fun and they sometimes help to get the point a cross and as you can tell I like using them a lot in fact I think mylot should add some more smileys it makes posting more fun.

Ha! That's hilarious i'll have to look for them here. I use them at my work because we use Microsoft Office Communicator and it has them. Everyone in the office thinks their hilarious. I think their funny. Ah man i can't use them till i'm at a rank of 200. That's poop i was all excited. I'll just have to write to more discussions.

Hi Zelmarq, from the comment you gave in response #2, I know this is a discussion started by one of your colleagues. It’s really weird that the discussion which is created by your colleague, Cora would go wrongly to your account. What a silly mistake the system had made! Anyway this seems that it’s a gift from Cora lol ... Yeah, I like using those myLot smiley codes when posting. I would like to use at least one in most of my posts. The smiley codes which I frequently use are and . Sometimes I would use lol or hehe if I still need extra ones to express my feeling. Posts with more than 3 smiley codes are not allowed. Users here who have reached the minimum amount of 200 posts only will be allowed to insert those smiley codes in their posts. Happy posting and have a nice day.

I use the smiley codes sometimes in my responses ro discussions. I used to make them on my own. I'm glad Mylot decided to add them here for us to use though.

I take the full advantages of mylot codes and whenever and wherever possible I use it to decorate my discussion. It help us display our emotions in a better manner. Wherever silent words fail to dipict our emotions in a response or a comment, smileys come very handy and smileys say it all without even writing a single words.However, I feel there should not be any limit to use of number of smileys (which at present is restricted to three) and we should be able to use as much smileys as much we feel like.

I have used them a couple of times but most of the time I just forget to do it.

well, there can only be 3 used in one discussion, but we, who haven't had them for most of this time, are glad to have what they've given us!

Hello dear Zelmarq. It is cool that you have finally found mylot smileys. It has been here for quite a few months. Yeah, I like the smileys, but I do not always remember to use them. The smileys help show our feelings, but in most cases I love to use together with Happy mylotting, dear friend.

Yes I do use the smileys... sometimes though when I am in a hurry, I will do this for happy :) or this for sad :( but mostly I do use the smileys..Though there are some they don't have that I would like to see, I can't remeber them all, but one would be a praying smiley, I think that would be nice..

I crossd around 1000+ posts here but i really get admire with other who are making discussions with smileys but still to say i dont know how to put smileys here. So i used asked some of the friend but i could not able to make it in my discussion. I am really like that and will put in my future discusion

I did not see any smiley codes on the left side of my screen,I think that means I still cannot use smileys yet,right? I am looking forward for the day I can start to use smileys in m discussions. I think my discussions would be more lively if I use smileys in them. You are the one who told me that we can actually use smileys in the discussions. Thanks for the information. So you get lucky on this post of your colleague in the office friend for so many of us responded on this discussion but just tell her to take care on the next post and for this post when I do read it yesterday i was surprise on how you could not use a smileys before when you are almost 4thousand post but it is fine on the contrary i do like to used smileys for I do think that I could expressed my inner feeling about it.....
