The best way to beat a bully is to volunteer

During dinner last night my Daughter told me that one of her friends had her head flushed down the toliet, but she didn't actually go down like pee pee.
After almost falling off my chair, I ask her what happened and then I confirmed the story with school this morning.
Here is what happened.
Three of her friends went into the bathroom and decided they want to see if a person could go down the toliet. So April volunteered to be the flushy. What they did not consider was that the bathroom had an alarm on it so it a large amount of water got on the floor, an alarm would sound. After the first flush the alarm went off (my dauther thinking it was a fire alarm grabbed her fire buddy and started heading out of the school).
In the meantime, one of the other girls, Michelle, ran to the door and held it shut with her body, while the teacher was trying to get in. The other two girls, where continuing their experiement, Tasha repeatly put April's head in the toliet and flushed. She got flushed 7 times before the teachers got into the bathroom.
Needless to say all three girls spent the rest of the day in the principles office waiting for their parents to come so they could explain why they did it. My daughter still believes it was a fire drill and she did the right thing going out to the fence.
In case you are wondering, these kids are in 4 years old and in K4.
I called my husband this morning to tell him that the story was true and gave him the details that our daughter missed and we decided that the kids found the perfect way around bullies, just volunteer for it. LOL
Bad day for the teacher, funny story now. I am sure I would feel differently if my daughter was a participate.

Those poor little girls~ they were just experimenting:) It is a funny story and when these girls get older, their parents will look back at this and think it is funny too. That teacher must have been beside herself wondering what was going on!! Isn't it fun to hear all the stories about what happens in school?

Okay I just spit coffee on my screen. That is just too funny. Give the little one a hug from me and tell her I'm proud that she followed here fire alarm instincts!

ROFLMFAO omg that is PRICELESS!!! and I have to say this is a first for me..I've heard of kids getting swirlies in the bullying sense but NEVER children trying it to see if it works...LOL you should ask your daughter what they would do if the volunteer DID actually "go down like pee pee" LOL
omg thats too comical

Honestly what they did was wrong, OK I have done the good parent thing.
But seriously, as 4 year old girls, think about the planning and team work it took to pull this off. It would have never worked if all three had not participated, one to hold the door, one to put their head in and one to flush. It is amazing that they thought of it, created the plan and executed it.

lol that is hilarious! how long did it take them to find your daughter and her friend out by the fence? lol. i can't believe kids would even think to do something like that. could you imagine being the little girl's parent whose head was in the toilet?

While it's great that your daughter found a way around bullies, I'm concerned that the school didn't call you. Considering what *can* happen with "flushies", or "swirlies", I would ripping the school a new one for not calling me as soon as it happened.
(Understand, this comes after hearing the stories about how a friend of mine's daughter broke her finger on the playground and the teacher refused to allow her to go to the nurse. Another friend's daughter was sexually molested on the school bus. That same friend's older daughter was beat up by a group of seven girls and in all of these cases, the parents found out what happened from their children. To go a step further, the school's refused to do anything, except in the case of the teacher who got two days' suspension.)
