How many of you design a particular room around a certain theme? Like, my kitchen is done in grape decor, my bathroom lighthouses...etc. What are your favorite themes? Please rate this discussion if you feel it is good, and I will rate responses.

Let's see now...... I do my entire apartment around the theme of Dog Hair. It goes with everything and on everything! Everything looks better with dog hair on it. HEHEHE! Gotcha! Hey girl, I will continue to use my Alaska theme since I can't afford to change out those pictures. Now, do you know where I can get a bear skin rug? Just kidding, I wouldn't kill an animal for that. I do have a nice collection of loons that tie in with my Alaska theme. I won't go as far as the Alaska oil spill for a theme. It is too smelly! You had better rate this good!

We have a tiny apartment that my mom and I rent, so we can't really do much. But oooh I've always wanted to have some themed rooms. Not all of them, just a few special ones. Like, I once saw a ying-yang themed room, and I really want to use that idea when I get my own place, for a small lounge or reading room or something like that.

I think that is a pretty cool idea for a lounge/reading room. I can see you doing that when you get your own place. Thanks for replying.

no, but my sister had a Steelers themed bathroom. i know when i get a house i wanted to do themed rooms. i wanted a guest room to have an old villa feel to it, more with the bathroom. i love brathrooms, the design of sinks and tubs...cool. i wanted my bathroom to be a modern looking. my husband wanted to design each room of our house to each ethnicity our children have in them. like a Japanese style room, a Chinese style one, Filipino, Hawaiian...and so on...its a cool idea.

That is a really neat idea. I think rooms that have a nationality type theme are very interesting. I love the idea though of a football themed bathroom. That is one idea I have never heard of. Thank you for sharing that. I appreciate your response.

Would love to do that in my house. Have lots of ideas but very little time. My babys room has a lot of giraffes. Would love to do a Pacific room.

My kitchen is done in lighthouse. My office is done with gray wolves. My bedroom in unicorns. My masterbath is done in denim. One bedroom is done with Thomas, another in Astronomy, and the others are whatever teenagers call their theme (I call it mess).

I LOVE ITI call it a mess. OH, yes, I know what you mean. Wow your home sounds beautiful. Lighthouses are an intersting choice for the kitchen. I chose them for my bath. Do you have any pictures of the ones you have?
