Will you kill someone who is about to kill you?

I will do anything and everything to defend other people before I defend myself. I have told my family this over and over that I will step in front of the bullet if it is about to hit one of them. I am very protective over my family, and have been since I can remember. However, if it was just me he was about to kill, I will kill him before he kills me. Why should I let someone run free when he can possibly kill others in the future?

If i have a choice, i won't kill him.. AT most i will injure him with whatever weapon i can find, making him harmless b4 i try to subdue him ^_^ Because it makes no sense for me to kill him, if he's really mad in the 1st place.. PLus, during my time in the army, we are often taught, shoot to injure, and not kill.. Plus, every human is a life, no matter how wrong or how many lives had taken, and we might be the next, we still dun have the right to kill him ^_^

whether or not i have "a counter deadly weapon" i would still do everything in my power to kill him first. even if that means trying to push my thumbs thru to his brain lol!! and in the case of family being threatened..you bet id kill the person. no doubts, no hesitations.

I'm not a violent person either, but if someone was about to kill me I would have no choice but to defend myself and kill him first. I never want to kill anyone and I may feel bad about for a while but I guess I would have to get over it, in that situation it would either be me or him and better him than me plus you may stop him from hurting someone else as well.

I would definitely try to kill him first. In either instance, a life is going to be taken. If he kills me, my life will be wasted. If I kill him, I would be saving some other innocent people's lives and eliminating a dangerous threat to society.

Of course not.... I will let GOD to funish him.

It may sound cruel and very violent if I say that Yes I am going to kill him, if I get a chance! But that is the truth ! It is very natural too! Why we are taking medicines like Antibiotics etc when we fall sick ? Just to kill the Pathogenic organisms inside our body so that they will not kill us otherwise. Why do you squat a mosquito the moment you find him piercing his sharp neddle like mouth parts into your skin ? This you do without knowing to your self. This act is known as involuntary act. So that you are not harmed, it is your body's natural defence mechanism. So when it comes to saving one's own life from an enemy its body's natural response is to protect itself by hook or crook. Thus I think it will be a false statement if you say that you will let the fellow to kill you and you will simply stand there watching ? Have you ever witnessed Chicken being killed for table purpose. Even that helpless bird also expresses its protest in the form of violent movements in the hands of strong hands of the butcher about whom it knows that it can do nothing agaist him! This is very natural phenomenon! This is very personal opinion of mine, but then I have heard about the people like late Mahatma gandhi who believed in Non - Violence and accepted the bullet into his body without any protest ! In the self defence I have killed a Peson.That means I have done Encounter.

Wahhh.. I really don't know... I really think before I actually responded to this discussion but all I can think of is to just run away because I am not sure if I am really capable of killing him but we can never deny the fact that when it is your life at stake, and you really need to survive to live for your family and friends then I might have killed him.. but I wish, just lost his consciousness you know.. until i get rescued.. then for him to just go to jail... In such a situation, I would have to defend myself but I don't think I could be capable of killing the mad person. The most I could do is to shoot him at his feet and hands so he could not shoot back and once he is down then I'd run away as fast as I could to ask for help!

i'll kill him if if i think he is a bad guy.. or else he will start killing again.. but i don't think if that's necessary to happen. but bad guy is ussually strong esspecially with weapon in his arms. he still can used it to hit us, to knock us down, by hitting our head, so i think we have to be very sure if we decide to attack..

In a situation like this when someone aims to kill you, I have to defend my self. I do not want to kill somebody, but if the chance is 45% that I have to grab something to harm the killer, I would do it. If I killed him, it is because of self defense. But I have to make sure that I have preserve my life in the situation.

i will hide and i will not kill him because i could go to jail and in jail they could kill you there show i will chill down and call the police i dont whant to kill some one

I would defend my family and myself if the opportunity arose and I had to do so. Even A Christian needs to use common sense and to have self defense. It is not murder in that it is not pre-meditated. So yes if need I would do this.

I have to say this it's the fight or flight and survival insticts that would automatically kick in. I would love to say that I don't have it in me to kill another human being but if my life hangs in the balance then I'm going to pick me over them. Because I have a family and I won't go down with out a fight. I will defend myself and my family to the best of my ability.

I absolutely would kill, maim whatever it took to defend myself. I am not violent either and almost a pacifist, but if someone was trying to hurt me or my family, there is nothing I would not do to defend myself and my family. Nothing!

Well, if I had the chance, before he came after me, to stop him from hurting others, I would have done so, maybe not killing, if possible, but when you shoot, you may not always have the chance to think that fast. If someone is going to kill me, I will do whatever it takes to live, and if I think I will die anyway, I still would because it would stop him from doing it to others, even if I cannot be saved.

I would kill him first without a second thought if it can protect myself or the rest of those innocent people.But not too look into the matter i would probably shoot his hand or leg so that he cant move and i will call the cops it depend on the situation itself.
