I'd say blame for lots. Parents and the amount of fast food shops. I cannot believe that there are such high rates of obesity in some areas of this world. I wonder if the parents know the threat and damage it can cause to your health. There is just too many fast food shops. It makes people go eat fast food since its so close. I also think that the schools should give some education on that? Do they? I am not entirely sure.

Hello,Nishanth! There are two factors which are responsible for obesity. The one is genetic factor and the other is environmental factor. For genetic factor you may take precautions. But for environmental factors much depends upon the parents. The environment includes lifestyle behaviors such as what and how often a person eats and how active he or she is.Most people tend to have high fat diets, often putting taste and convenience ahead of nutritional value when choosing meals. In addition most urban children don't get enough physical exercise for which obesity is increasing among urban children.thqanx.

I think it is a combination of heredity and the parents feeding the children the wrong foods. Some people are a lot more prone to gain weight than others and by not teaching our children to eat right by setting a good example of eating right ourselves and buying health foods and not the fattening foods they like. So many parents are so rushed and busy it is just a lot easier to go through the drive through or buy a lot of junk food for a fast meal. With a little thought it is pretty easy to keep healthy snacks in the home. The best way to keep junk food out is not to buy it. Do not let them pick out unhealthy foods and soft drinks at the grocery store.

I say the parents, they the one that buy the food or go take the kids to fast food places.
Kids don't know any better when they little.
