Do you ever look at your childhood photos?
Does it make you happy or sad?
When I look at my childhood photos,
I can't really see myself.
I don't have my natural hair color
anymore, so there is little resemblance.
Sometimes, I feel weird looking
at the pictures. They bring back
bittersweet memories.
Often, I'll avoid looking at old photos.
But, sometimes, when I find a candid photo
in my scrapbook of just me and my brothers,
it brings back a happy memory and makes
me smile.
Those are nice moments.
How about you? Do childhood photos bring
back good memories?

I have shelves of photo albums that show the first 20 years of my life. Mom made them for me. They're pretty great. Then there's my husband's and my wedding album, and my Aunt made that one for us. Well I put the pictures in, but she literally made the album. All these pictures bring back really good memories.

I looked at some of mine just last week. My daughter got out a photo album of pictures of me and my brothers and sister when we were kids. My mom went through all of the pictures of us when we were kids and made up photo albums for all of us kids.

I unfortunately do not have any childhoood pictures. I had a house fire when I was 9 and do not have any childhood memories
That being said I do look back at my kids pictures and love it...but I miss them being super little, and since I can no longer have anymore children i enjoy looking at there baby pictures...and since i learned from having a fire i have doubles of all my pictures made and give them to people so that I can make doubles if I ever have a house fire of mine...which I pray to god never happens

Yes, sometimes.
But I look at my son's childhood album more, because it brings back sweet and happy memories. I always do it with my boy.

When I look at my childhood photos , I can see my self in front of me doing what the picture refers to.seeing those photos make me always happy , even if the image was taking in a sad moment or in a bad temper , I do really enjoy it , because it is a part of my own history , a part of my life in one of the greatest period that I've lived and tasted the good and the bad of it.
Beside, those photos are one of the ways which make me come down if I was angry or some thing like that, it makes me remembering the nice and the calm person who I was, and give me some lessons about what I forgot as good habbies to try to bring them back.

My sister actually just sent me a bunch of pictures this summer that she had scanned from my grandma's old photo albums. I was surprised to see how sad my eyes look in a lot of them, even when I'm smiling with my mouth. You can generally tell how my life was by looking at my eyes in the pictures. My childhood was full of ups and downs, and I think that's obvious in the pictures.

I tend to avoid looking at childhood photos. I have noticed before that I never seem to be smiling in any of them. It depresses me. I prefer current pictures where I seem to always be smiling.

Well I do not have my childhood photos, my mum does. I had a look at them earlier in the year actually and that was only because my mum had looked at them and had noticed how much my daughter resembles me when I was little. It was quite spooky actually because she is my double. I get sad when I look at photos, it makes me wish that I could go back, go back and put right the things that I did wrong so I tend not to look at photos too much.

i look at them occasionally. they do not make me sad really but i have so much going on in the here and now that i rarely have time to look back and reminisce (did i spell that right??) anyway i so enjoy looking at them from time to time with my young son as he really gets a kick out of seeing how everyone looked back in the day so to speak. i do not like looking at pictures of him when he was a baby because they do make me sad because he has grown so quickly and i love him being a little boy.

I love going back and looking at old photos. It's a way to remember and cherish the times that have past. Sometimes I will look at pictures and remember something I had completly forgotten about until then. It's nice to have an old memory resurface after so long. I take tons and tons of pictuers all the time. Sometimes it drives me friends/family crazy but I want to always be able to remember times and how things were and people. I'm a bit of a picture nut!

Yes, I often take a look at my childhood photos. There are some in my bedroom lined up with some new photos taken recently. Those old photos are all in whilt and black color. They are very precious to me. Whenver I feel sad, upset or not in a good mood, I often take a look at those old photos from my childhood when there was no trouble, only happiness around me. It's a great comfort for me to review those photos as they can help me to recall what I have done in the past, my companions, my friends and a lot of interesting stuff which belong only to the children.

Yes, sometimes, I look at my childhood photos, it was quite fun and nostalgic to see it. Quite reminisced the memories that the particular photo have and really make me smile whenever I saw my old hairstyle when I was a kid as well as it saddened me to remember the happy memories and kinda missed the old days. It was really good pastime sometimes looking at our old photos, really feel mixed emotions whenever I look at it.

Everytime i look at my childhood photos. It brings back good memories and things that i miss when i was still young. The people i love whom i havent seen for quite a while and those loving grandparents of mine who already passed away. I have a wonderful childhood and those are the best part of my life. If there was a time in my life where all i did is laugh and play. It happen during my younger days.

I look back at those old pictures with my brothers and sister. I never thought about them much until 6 years ago when we lost one of our brothers. I love looking back at pictures with all of us together. If I am having a bad day, it takes some of that away when I am thinking back.
If I see a picture by myself from when I was a kid, all I can think of is my daughter at that age because you would think the picture was of her!
