I saw many ppl posting 'how 2 make extra money? how 2 earn more money?' etc on mylot, and seems that everyone is interesting on getting more money...
i m just thinking, what if one day when u walking on the street, or waiting bus, or whatever...and u found USD$50 what will u do? for me, i will pick up and wait for 30 minutes, see if anybody run back to look for it, after 30 minutes, will b mine :p (coz it's kinda trouble to report it, and i might as well donate to the charity)
however if i found more than USD$100, i will send to the police station, coz i lost my money(around USD$1000) b4 while i studied in melbourne, so i understand that kind of feeling...i considered myself a little greedy, how abt u? in what circumstances, or how much u found, the different reaction of yours and why?
and for sure, if i saw someone fell something (regradless what is it, money, accesories etc), i will immediately help to pick up and give back to him/her ^_^

If I found $50, I would probably look around to see if anyone in the area had lost it. If not, I would keep it. If it were $100, I would do the same. I don't see anyone going to the police station to report that they lost $100.
I have seen people drop money out of their pocket before and immediately picked it up and gave it back to them.

If I were who finds the 50$ I would take quikly before that someone else see it and take it from me, it's safer , take it fast lol ,
I agree with what you've said about people when they find money, they keep it for theirself instead give it to police .

Well I have never found lose money on street, I feel if I get some then I will definately look around if someone is searching for it or not, if not then I will donate it as it is only hard earned money that gives peace and satisfaction. Once a lady has left her bundle of unstitched clothes with me in bus but while talking to her I had told that we are going to railway station, so when she realised she came back on station and after handing over the packet, I felt so relieved, otherwise it was looking like a burden to me.

Well, I guess just like you I would stay for a while and see if anyone would be looking for some lost money. If nobody will come look for it, I will then keep the money. May it be $50 or $100, I will just keep it. If I have to go to the police station and report the matter, a lot of people would go there and claim ownership and I am sure it would be very difficult to clarify who the owner is. Might as well keep it and consider it a blessing.

I like to think that I would turn i in, but maybe if I was haveing a bad day it would just stay in my pocket. If it was a purse or a wallet then for sure it
would be returned or turned in. I'm no angel thats for sure.

when I find this amount, like 100 dollars, maybe I will return it or maybe not, if I am in need on the time I found it, then it is finders keepers, but if I am not, I will go ask if anyone lose some bills, but if I really have to make an effort to find the owner, then I guess I just have to keep it.

Well, I would do like you. Wait and hang around for a while to see if the owner came back for it.
If not, I will then take a 10 percent equvalent of the found money and donate it to charity. Doesn't matter which charity as long as it is a charity.
Then I will claim it as mine and add it to my million dollar fund.
Cos it meets the criteria of one of the rules of the game.
I have found various amounts of money before. Anything from a few cents to a few hundred dollars.
But if I ever found a bag of money, I would report it to the police. You never know where the source of that money is from. Rather forgo it than to risk taking illegal money.

Looks like people in your country are a bit too honest. If I go and report that I have found such money, at least three to four people will come and claim for it. So, instead, I would take it home and keep it for some days. Losing money and things is bad, but then finder's keepers, loosers weepers. This might sound rude or unkind on my part, but that's just the way it is.

Hi. I answered such question before. All people are greedy and of course if i saw money on the floor i will pick it up. But recently saw a lot of people who are very poor from some other country. I think of if they are the one who drop the money and they need it for urgent. Then i am the one who make their situation become worser. So i thinnk if i saw it on the floor i will wait there untill someone come back for it. If no one come and claim it then i will send it to police. Happy myloting!!!

if i get to see some money lying anywhere i will never touch it and just do my work and avoid it because i have a bad experiences that whenever if i get money anywhere i everytime take it and give in charity but then too i had everytime lost more money than i have got any. so i really dont want to pick up nor give into charity. if i see a poor and needy i myself help it but never pick uop money anywhere.
yes if i have seen the money fallen from anyone i would surely help them to tell their money is fallen down or so.
and here more of people want to know how to earn online and i thik it is really a good way to know better and as we all here are to earn with enjoyment and it is the way we can communicate and know more and hence i dont mind at all if this talk taking place. we just want to use our free time and earn a penny for the free time and thats set.

My hubby and I often talk about things like this, here in my country it is often that in the news there is a nice cab driver that returns a bag to its rightful owner and me and hubby wonders if it happens to us, will we return the money? the answer is, it depends, if there are some identification with the money, that can lead us to the owner, well we will return it, if it is just money and identification or what ever, I will just keep it

If I ever find coins on the floor, then I will always just keep them, but if I find notes then I will ask passers by have they dropped some money (and then ask them how much just to make sure they're not just saying that the money belongs to them.)
I don't usually keep money for myself, I will walk into a shop and put it into whichever charity tin happens to be on the desk at the time.

If i found a 50$ i will wait till someone will come back and asked about it. Or if i happen to see someone checking there chairs or bag i might asked if there looking for something before i keep it and give it away to someone who needed it the most. I feel guilty taking other peoples money even though i just found it coz for sure that person is wondering where his/her money went and might be sad about it.
If the money is more i will right away go to the police station to report the incident and look for identification just to make sure it is the right person who will received the money. I have lost my wallet once and sad to say the person returns the wallet but no longer returns my money. So i know how it feels when you lost something and somebody took it.

yes, i knew the feelings too, coz i lost my wallet once when i studied in melbourne, it was just the 2nd day when i arrived there, not yet got any chance to bank it already lost it, but after a few days, my best friend found my wallet at the campus at the 'lost & found' counter, but, there is no money inside...which was a sad memory of mine, coz at that time, it was very inconvenient to me, and i was shameful to report to my parents coz i blamed myself for being so careless, i was very upset for a long time...

it really depends on the situation... if i see the person who drops the money, then of course i will return it to him/her... otherwise, i will keep it and donate it to charity as there is no use of giving it to the police... it will end up in their pocket... take care and have a nice day...

IN life, we cant do without money and that's why money is so important ^_^ At least, alot of mylotters are asking the legal ways to earn money, and it's a good thing ^_^ haha
If i were to pick up money, i will not wait so long at the place, rather i will walk around the vicinity to see if there's anybody finding something.. Because if one were to drop or lose money, they won't know the exact place so they can only track back.. So i will find it's a little foolish to be standing there to wait when there's a chance for me to find them instead.. hehe ^_^ For any amount less than 100, i will either donate to charity or spend it if i cant find the owner, but if it's anything more than that, i will reprt it to the police too ^_^ hehe

I really wouldn't bother actually waiting or searching for someone who lost $50 USD, because if they lost the money, then too bad. If I found it, then it is mine lol. It's not because I'm too darn greedy for money, but I don't know why I should bother myself searching or waiting for someone who lost $50 USD... or whatever amount. What's more important (to me) is that even if I was being nice enough to wait or search for someone who lost money for whatever reason, there's no guarantee that the same or another person will actually do the samething to other people or even me, is there? If I was really greedy for money, then I would rather be robbing other people to get more money as a greedy @$$hole, but I don't think I am greedy, and I don't see the necessity of returning to money to the person who lost it. (I think I would return to the friend of mine, if I actually knew that my friend lost it) well yea, that's my little thought and happy mylotting

I never found money on road. Some times i only lost some amount,But never get back.
Here some one says I will wait for owners to come and return back that amount. It is impossible if he/she really get that. Ok I will not wait thats true .
when i get amount i will see any one searching for it. If no one i will take it off to be frank.
