Do you think about things too much? Do you over analize everything? When you go to bed at night do you lay there thinking about things so much that you have a hard time going to sleep?

Yes I most definitely do think too much. My head spins with thoughts every time I close my eyes. I suffer from severe sleep deprivation due to the thinking process that I cannot get under control. I wish I knew how to stop this as it is really having a bad effect on me physically and emotionally.

I always think too much about everything in my life. And it gave me headache all night so I usually take pain killers. I wish I know how to turn of my mind from thinking of such things. Its just too much, and some people say I might get paranoid I hope not. Sometimes if I can manage to go to sleep before my thinking gets worst, I still end up with bad dreams and nightmares. Until now I am still struggling how to switch my mind to relax. Any tips?

Reading a good book in bed helps me. Also some hot chocolate or even popcorn helps relax me. If you have a TV in your room try watching something funny. If you start to get negative thoughts in your head try to think about good things instead. Think of something calm like a beach with a hammock.

Yes, I definitely have this syndrome! I will be thinking about a topic, or something going on in the world and I can't stop thinking about it. I will lye in bed looking up at the ceiling just thinking about life and just can never stop thinking about it. I once stayed up until 3 a.m. and totally lost track of time sitting in a chair staring out the window!

That's what i do all night.
Everytime i wake up i think about stuff like money, bills and all kinds of things.
I never sleep good because i worry a lot.

Yes, I'm. And sadly I think my hair drops a lots due to this :(...
My brain will be quite active during bedtime and it took me quite some time to cool it down. I'm learning to concentrate on my breathing when I think too much before bed time. It does work by breathing slowly. The other way is thinking of your religion, it will work too.

Yes i'll always see things in situations or peoples actions that no-one else does, i just have this tendency to think that almost everything everyone does has an ulterior motive. As for sleeping if i can't get something off my mind i normally just write it down somewhere and that allows me to forget about it and get on with sleeping.
