I can't remember the last time I over-ate a meal. I quit as soon as the full message gets from my brain to my tummy. I don't eat alot anyway so am comfy and content after a meal. Don't like the feeling of being so full that misery is about to be a part of my afternoon or evening. I don't eat late at night either since it causes me to have nightmares or be terribly restless.

Good eating habits. At night even I avoid late night meal and rich food.

Hello Daffodil. I have to admit that sometimes I overeat if the food is very tasty. But recently, I have not overeaten for even once as the canteen food is not that tasty.

Good for you. LOL. You know, tasty food weakens majority of the people's resolve of self restraint.

LOL.Over eating everytime does make you fat and sick too. Boredom is one of the prime reasons for it. You must try to find something interesting to do as a hobby whenever you are bored. It will fill your mind with satisfaction which is so much better than filling your tummy with unrequired food.

Eating is a good habit, but if it goes in a uncontrolled way it will lead to obesity. My mouth started to water too sometimes, whenever I see delicious stuffs, but I will have to control it,I know. So,I avoid this habit by drinking liters of water.

i usually dont do over eating and i want my stomach to be lighter and hence i eat accordingly so that i will never it heavy and get loaded. everytime i feel eating a little less than filling the tummy full is good to be active and keep ourself lighter. i just can do over eating but sometimes it happens that when we visit our relatives and friends and also in some functions or so there they compul us to eat more and at that time i really feel heavy and loaded. the food what we eat is usually spicy and it will be more heavy when consumed a little also but eating more will surely lead me to tiring and i dont want it to happen. yes sometimes when i feel the food is tasty and delicious, i just eat a little extra and then too i just try to have some space in my belly. eating heavy food really tires me and i need to take something extra to digest that food and it is really better for me that i eat a little less than facing all this problems.

To keep yourself light and active, one must eat lesser portions. You are so right.Realtives sometimes compel us to eat more than what we would preffer. I remember my father statement that noone falls sichk by eating little less but ove eating mostly tends to make you sick.

I over eat all the time.
Even when I'm full i get seconds just because it tastes so good.
I think food is one of the greatest inventions ever.

Hi, over- eating is really bad but I sometimes love to over eat. Who does not? when the food is soooo yummy? Is it gluttony? But it's not everyday or else, how to shed some unwanted pounds is another problem.
I think most people over eat during parties and fiesta celebrations when the food is free and plenty.

i am so guilty over this subject. i always tend to over-eat but i do not get to the point that i am vomitty or something. lucky on my part, i am never get overweight. i love food and while i always try to resolve to eat less, i always end up not doing it. i think my hormones always gets the best of me. unfortunately.

Actually I don't.
I do love food, don't get me wrong but I never over-eat, okay well maybe on special occasions, but very rarely. I'm skinny on a well balanced diet.

Although I love food, I rarely over eat unless it is absolutely scrumptious =)
Most of the days, I will peck at healthy snacks but I barely eat or get hungry. Lately my appetite has been withering away and I know it's a health problem since I have now gone 2 days with no solid food.
On the other hand, my boyfriend is a completely different story so I can relate somewhat. I notice whenever he eats, he ALWAYS takes an extra 3-4 bites after being full. Even when I tell him not to he will do it. Why? Could be a number of reasons in your case. Substituting food for a habit you have passed, etc.
I heard that by taking extra bites when your stomach is full- that is how you expand your stomach.. eh, don't know if it's true or not though lol. Someone told me^^

I admire your self restrain. You could serve as an example of a perfect eating habit. Wow!!
