Do you wear contact lenses or have glasses?

I wear glasses for any close work and reading,I have not ever tried contact lenses and I have to say that the very idea of them makes my toes turn in lol .I have a friend who was advised by the optician to try some disposable contact lenses,and she went to book an appointment to try them out,well she came in to see me and I was horrified ,her eyes had turned bright blue!she had tinted lenses in ,and they looked frightening.I begged her lol to go and have the optician take them out,and she soon came around to the way of thinking that they definitely did nothing for her.But she stuck with it and now buys the run of the mill disposable contact lenses from the supermarket,she finds them invaluable.Her job means that she would have to wear glasses all of the time to be able to carry out her work,but she feels far more comfortable wearing her lenses.She has to ensure that her eyes are kept clean and that her lenses are put in correctly,but apart from that no problems at all.

Indeed I hate waring glasses,nethier glasses or contact lenses,but I have to ware it everyday because of my myopia. When I was in the Junior high sckool,I like glasses,and when I saw some one ware it,I thought it was beautiful,but when I ware glasses,I hate it!especialy when the winter coming,I can't ware masks,so I often feel cold,and in summer,I cant ware sun glasses,it feel bad of this,that all because I don't take care of my eyes.

Hello maximax. I have never worn contact lenses, but I have been wearing glasses for decades. I am used to glasses only. It is true that many people wear contact lenses. But it seems that it is easy to get some eye infection, as I get to know this from my students, who wear contact lenses. The colour of my glasses is silver with no fixed frame. I like it very much for its good quality and it will last me a few more years though it has been used for more than four years. It looks new.

I began to wear glasses since four years ago.But now I don't like to wear it.I feel it's very uncomfortable when I play basketball and do other things.

I have both of them. Most of the time I wear glasses, and other times such as doing the exercise, going out for traveling, going to a party I always wear contact lenses. But it is very inconvenient to wear contact lenses when I am going to swim. I have used contact lenses for nearly 6 years and I try many kinds of contact lenses. It is comfortable to wear contact lenses but also a little bit troublesome that you have to clear them. I gonna do a surgery so that I neither need contact lenses nor glasses. But still not find the proper time to do it.

I wear both, but mostly glasses unless I feel like I have an extra 15 minutes to put el contacts on. I'm mostly lazy, so it doesn't really happen often...when I do wear contacts, I have two pairs of long-lasting coloured contacts that I generally wear. I also have a pair of normal contacts but well..something happened to them so I'll let them rest for a bit. XD And I have a few pairs of glasses, as well as two pairs of prescription sunnies. (I wonder where that other pair is..) Hmm. That does remind me. I should look for it. XD

I wear contacts and actually just started having to wear them about a year ago. I started off with glasses a month or two before I made the switch to contacts. The glasses hurt behind my ears and I've always been sensitive there. It gives me headaches. I wear month-long contacts and they are Acuvues. They are pretty comfortable, but I can definitely tell when it's time for a new pair because they become very uncomfortable.

I can't do contacts. I have dry eye and occular rosacea. Must be handy for those that can. I wear glasses and sometimes that has saved my eyes. I've sprung picker bushes into my face without time for my eyes to close and my glasses have saved me. My glasses are usually blue to go with my eyes and my red rosacea face. My eye care keeps changing. With a disease, you have to keep up with it. Take care.

I'm one of the lucky ones, who doesn't have to wear glasses or contact lenses. There were two periods, when I had to wear glasses. From the time I was twelve to thirteen or fourteen and then from the age of about 15 1/2, 16 to 17. But now I don't have to. I've been told the last few times that I don't need to wear glasses.

I do not wear contact lenses or glasses. I take good care of my eyes by taking carrot juice often. I read it is good for our eyes. I also take fresh vegetable juice and a balanced diet. I invest in vitamin tablets too.

Hi max...I wear glasses all the time. I am not comfortable with contact lenses since I am near sighted,I need to take off my glasses when reading ,writing or teaching...so it would be hard with the contact lense. Max...I responded to your posting about your reaching 5000 points...how come your back to 4998 now?

I've tried using contact lenses before.I am now using my eyeglasses,i feel so comfortable using my eyeglasses.

I went to the eye doctor about 6 month ago, he said my eyes are not to bad. I tried on different glasses while i was waiting. I thought I looked pretty sexy in glasses. I don't think I like contacts, cause I don't think I can put them in.
