I always do. Well, not unless it fell on something dirty or yucky.
I often see 5 centavo (around $.0011), 10 centavo (around $.0021) and 25 centavo (around $.0053) coins just lying on the pavement. Most of the time, I pick them up. But just like what I have said, I won't do so if it's on something dirty.
So what about you? Will you pick up the coins you have dropped or will you leave them lying there?
If you see some coins on the street, will you pick them up or step over them and go on your way?

I always pick up change on the road. Even if it is just a penny it is worth it to me. Im sure I have picked up enough change to have bought me a combo meal by now. It all adds up.

I pick it up unless it is a penny. Because I heard it is good luck for people to find a penny, so I leave it for someone to have good luck :)

Yes I always pick up any money on the floor, all amounts of money add up eventually! I do not seem to see as much on the floor though as I used too, maybe people are being more careful with their change these days.

I do thesame as you did, but not on busy streets in which I have to get to the otherside. I have known a person here in my neighborhood that collets dropped coins in the street and put them in a big jar made of clay, and its almost half, He said that the one who started of collecting it was his father, that's where he got hooked to it.

I found 5 cents on the footpath today and I picked it up. I have a jar that I put all my change in and once it fills up to the top I change it at the bank for cash. Afterall, $1000 isn't $1000 without the last 5 cents!

just like you, i also pick them up. it does not cost me to bend and pick them up. of course, coins on the ground are dirty, but i don't mind picking them up since they still have value and the dirt does not diminish the coins' value. i also love collecting coins until my collection reaches hundreds to put in my bank account. i have made friends with my bank staff.

of course i pick it up. money is money especially in this economic crisis. you cannot get much if anything for change but there are some things you can get. 75 cents buys a snack at my sons school each day and he gets reduced lunch so 40 cents pays for that. i cannot think of much else but money is money.

Good day... It goes the same with me. It's still money and if it's saved it can go a long way when you need it. Keeping money in the box is always a helpful way to save money or the rainy days.

I do make sure to pick up any change I dropped as that do add up in the long run. I also pick up any change I see on the ground. One time I found a quarter and a dollar when I walking back home from work.

I pick up small change. I never know when I might need it! And with everything so expensive, you need all you can get! :)

It depends on where I dropped the money. If it's toooooooooo insignificant such as 1 sen, which is 0.003 cent in USD. Hahahah. If it's something significant, even if drop on dirty place, i will go and get it =_=

I'd probably pick those loose change if I can but, similar to what you have stated, if its lying on some very compromising place, I wouldn't bother getting my fingers dirty that much.
Were you able to pick up a one centavo coin? I find it rare these days..

If it is my money, I will not leave it until and unless it is very dirty. I think there is no harm in picking your money. You have earned it and you should not leave it like this. Even if someone is watching, I tend to pick it up. Never leave yopur money alone.

Hey dolce, Well it would depend on how much coins and how
dirty the street. I wouldn't walk away from 21 cents or
53 cents! That would be alot of change to walk away from
in the USA! Here people might not pick up 1 cent or
5 cents, but more than that you can bet it would be
picked up! I know that I pick up change! I don't always
pick up the pennies, only because I have problems with
bending and it isn't always worth the pain. But in these
days it's hard to walk past anything because those coins
add up and I do save coins! But in the USA people don't drop
those odd amounts of coins without knowing it. The 25 cent coin
is large enough that if it fell it would make a noise so that
you would know that it fell and it is needed to get on the bus
so it is a widely used coin. It takes 8 of them to get on the
bus so you wouldn't find them on the ground for long!
