I have met so many people, that have traveled outside of the U.S. I am wondering, have you ever been here in the U.S. all your life, without traveling to another country.. I have yet to travel to an foreign country. I may do so when my kids get a little older.. What about you, have you not traveled beyond the United States either? If I traveled, it would be right in this same country, not outside of it. I have never had the chance to travel to another destination.. But, I would like to..

Well, let's see. I've been to Canada about 6 times and to Mexico twice. I've also been to the Caribbean twice and to Puerto Rico three times.

Hi cream, I have been several times to Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines. I love these places and my husband worked in all of them for over 11 years, without coming to the US to work.
I've also been to Canada several times. I've only been to China a couple of times.
There are many more places that I love to go. My health has slowed down my traveling consideralbly.
When you get a chance to go, you'll love these places if you get the chance to visit.

You are not alone in this one.I'm from Romania(Transilvania) and although I've been on the roads a lot,I never crossed my country's borders.Inside trips...lot of them.I was planning to go to Sweden this fall, but I didn't get the time to do that. It's just work work work and oh yeah!more work! for me this year.Maybe in spring..I just have to go out of this country for a few days.Ohh...my ancestor's blood is still running through my veins. They needed hundreds of years to settle down.Hopefully I won't need that much time :)

I am from the UK and my country is tiny compared to the USA. I know that your country is huge so I understand there is lots to see there . You could think of going to Canada or Mexico one day. I have been to California three times and to Hawaii once. I really love traveling and when I was 20 years old I went around the world. I traveled to France when I was a child then Greece when I was a teenager.

hi cream I have traved to British Columbia many years ago, and once to Tijuan Mexico but that is my only experience outside of the US. and I havent seen all the states in our US either. I have never been to the Southern states or the eastern states like New york, penn, rhode island all those states. I have been to most of the Western states. I was born in'South'Dakota, moved to Arizona and finally ended up in California. If you could some day you should take a trip up into british Columbia, its a gorgeous place and the people are so friendly too.Hope things are going so much better for you now, and maybe someday you and your kids could go on some traveling trips even here in our States. ever get to Ca look me up I will be in Antioch when we get moved. lol.

Ummm, I've never been more than 100 miles from my house. It is sad as my husband has been to several different states on vaca but I haven't been anywhere. So considering that, nope, no passport for me yet. Actually, I've never been on a commercial plane either! What a sad sad life! I would love to go to a few different places in the US and a few outside of it too but with the economy so bad it's pretty hard for us to have the extra money to travel. Maybe one day...

Yes, I know how you must feel. I have never traveled past the U.S. once.. I hope to get to do this, when I have a heap of money on me. I am sorry that you have not been able to travel like you want to.. Like you said, maybe one day you will be able to. And when you do, I know that you will have a nice time!

You'd be surprised that a lot of people haven't traveled outside the US. I'm one of those people! I do have some countries in mind I would like to visit, and i'd like to think that before I die, i'll get that chance. My daughter has even told me that whenever I go to Ireland, she wants to come with me. I guess I won't be needing a babysitter then!

Hey! Do not despair. I'll invite you in my country and we'll go to some other parts of Asia. I always travel because of my business. From where are you in the US? I'll go there very soon to visit my aunt in N.Y.

Hello cream97,
I am not from the United States and I am fortunate enough to travel outside my country. I worked in a multinational company and I was lucky enough to go on training to the US where our company main office is located. I was able to see some cities of the US like Dallas and Houston and experience a bit of the culture there. It was fun and exciting, and it is a good life experience. Try it, if you have the chance but if it is not possible due to unforseen events it is just ok to be just within your country.
Regards.

Well, let's see. I was born and raised in Michigan and we used to go to Canada every summer when we were younger
Now I live in San Diego and would go to Tijuana, Mexico sometimes by myself and other times with friends. I even lived in Tijuana for almost 3 years, but, I have never visited abroad. Someday, though..........

I have also been stuck in the US my entire life. I wish I could afford to go to another country. I don't even care where.

Don't feel alone. I've never traveled outside of the United States either. I think I might would like to if I could get the chance (but only if I could get to the place by boat first. No planes for me, thank you heh). I think the two countries I'd like to visit the most are Ireland and France. I've always really wanted to visit Ireland especially. But I actually have ancestors from Ireland and France. So I think it would be interesting to actually see where my ancestors came from.
But yeah, I've never traveled outside of the United States.
