Online Surveys are NOT Fair!

Please bear with my rant. I have been enrolled in so many online survey sites who made empty promises on paid surveys that shoul have given extra income to people around the world. I consider them unfair because these sites are NOT really for all peoples, contrary to what they have been advertising. I have been receiving survey invitations from testspin, globalmarket, etc., but then when I click the link, I am redirected to a thank you page telling me that I don't qualify for the survey because of my location?! That s*#ks!!

I feel that they must use the study group that works for them and if I do not qualify, that is fine. I do not look at it as income but just some extra cash, sort of like finding money on the street. I do not rely on any money I earn on the internet and it would be silly to do so. I have earned a nice chunk from surveys, but not an income. It is just the way it is and I accept that. Some surveys do not pay at all.

Yes, I believe we just can't rely on them as true income..just a sideline maybe. Thanks for the response Nanajanet! Have a great day always!

I agree with you. I totally AGREE with you. Survey sites...they suck. I just wish they just limited membership to US citizens if they want it that way, therefore not luring us to joining and then do nothing and earn nothing as well.

I live in the good ole USA and I get a lot of "you are not qualified" too. Understand that surveys are generally from a company that wants to sell a certain group of people merchandise. The survey is to test the opinions and attitudes of the group the company wants to sell to. Why survey everybody when they only want a certain market group?

The only reason why I am going to tell you that I don't agree, is because there are probably two or three that are good, and reliable! I would trust them highly! One of them is Viewpoint Forum, which has a good reputation ... and I have been paid for it! I don't believe in the ones that you have to complete offers. Like you get a survey and then you have to complete three offers to get paid (a.k.a cash crate, viva surveys). The other one I would reccomend is Pinecone Research! But that is only by referral.

I stopped taking surveys. A lot of the times the multiple choice was incomplete, so I couldn't give an accurate response. Also, I would do half the survey and sometimes almost all the survey and then was told I didn't qualify. I was never paid anything, but they did give me tokens (what am I going to do with a token?) and a change to win the ten thousand dollars. Everyone who believes they're going to win the $10,000.00 stand on your head. I see no takers.

if that's what they are doing, then maybe that's true! i have joined a survey site, but until now, i have not received any invitation from them. i have not been thinking about it a lot now.. guess you should try to focus on your other money making sites instead.. there are good sites and legitimate ones around.. maybe we just have to look closer to find better sites!

Yes it does stink. I am a member of a number of paid survey sites, and I am sure that I don't qualify for 10 times as many as I do qualify for. I guess you just have to be persistent, persistence pays off. I have a few listed on my web site which is listed in my profile, if you would like to give some of them a try. It seems like whenever a survey is through OTX, I only qualify once in a hundred times, so I usually don't even take them if the site is going through there. I guess after a while, you just know which ones you are going to qualify for. I have had a lot of luck with PineCone Research. It seems like I was getting a check in the mail almost every week from them. And now they pay through PayPal. Good luck to you in your online ventures! Have a great day!

globaltestmarket payment - cheque received from GlobalTestMarket on the 21.10.08
Hi There,Yeah i get this all the time too as i am in Australia and more then 90% of these sites are for the USA but there are a few that I receive a payment on regular period and that is from pureprofile ($125 since Apr08), lightspeed ($50 since feb08), Surveytalk ($70 since Apr08) and i just received a cheque today in the mail today for $71.00 from GlobalTestMarket so I was happy with that Have never tried Testspin myself so am unsure about that one, I wonder if you tried to email them and ask them why you are getting this all the time coz you shouldnt be getting that from Globaltestmarket I dont think?

I'm in the US and more often than not I don't qualify for some reason or another, too. In about 2 years, I think I have made $3 twice, and got $18 once. That's the problem with surveys.

I meant to say also that if they don't have any surveys that apply to a particular country, they should tell you that when you sign up, I agree. They probably want you there so they will have you in case they do get surveys for your country. But if that is the case, they can SAY SO!

Even worse is they get a bunch of input from you for some and you spend 10 minutes inputing your opinions and then they say hey your data group is full and that you don't qualify. I hate putting time in and getting told oh sucks to be you basically. I've stopped filling in surveys as they seem to be a waste of my time.

You must not have signed up with the right sites! I have signed up with many survey sites that do pay. I only do 2 or 3 now, because of my schedule, but I still make enough off just those few surveys to not quit doing them. Lightspeed Panel sends me like 3 or 4 surveys a week, and while they only give you points, the points add up to cash! I've made about $100 just this year.

I've been there, felt that before. Biased against because of where I am or whats my nationality. But heck, that's how life is, no? Its never ever fair. But I think you're lucky, after signing up for those surveys, I've yet to received any invitations from them. oh well, at least we have mylot :D

I think survey sites like to recruit different profiles of people just incase a relevant survey ever comes up and that includes location-wise I happen to get a number of surveys in my location and maybe fit the profile they're after as I've completed quite a number and been paid by various survey sites Some do give you some points for the attempt, some don't but I believe take a record of the attempt so you will receive more surveys for being active

Yup, me too! I hate them all. About 3 months ago I've joined several paid surveys that accepts international members but until now only 1 site gave the chance to participate with the though, it's too few. They're only rewarding for US and Canadian residents so if you live outside of those countries it's better to stay away from them. So far I've only completed only one survey which is just a waste of time. I will no longer join any paid surveys sites unless they'll be fair with all types of members whether they live outside of those search countries or not.

I really agree to your views most of the survey sites are scam sites they will never even send you single survey but my friend there aqre some geniune surveys also like global test market which are really paying but if you are outside of US its very difficult to get new surveys and you can hardly make minimum payout after 2 or 3 years
