Do you like your camera?

I don't like my camera. I have a digital camera and it has an excellent x 10 zoom. It is made by Olympus and so it takes XD memory card. Unfortunately it has a black mark that usually comes on my photos. I haven't developed my holiday photos yet from this summer because I know so much editing will be necessary. There are some cameras for sale at a discount and a couple of them are Fuji camera which also take an XD memory card. All the other camera makes take SD memory cards so that would be useless for me. I am wondering if I should look into replacing my camera. Do you like your camera? Which make is it and what type of memory card does it take? Does it take lovely photos? Do you think I should buy a new camera?

I like my digital camera. It was a birthday gift for me from my sister 4 years ago. It was my first digital camera. I also have an Olympus digital camera but I still prefer to use my first one which is a Sony Cyber-shot. It has a memory stick, only 1G though but it's fine with me because I usually save my photos at the end of the day after using it. I just hope that the screen is bigger, because mine only has 1.5 inches. Nevertheless, it captures perfectly. I am not opting to buy another one soon, I am still satisfied with it and the photos I have taken with it.

You might try cleaning your lens to get the black mark out. My daughter has a Nikon D40 with many different lens that go on it. Occasionally, she has to tear them down and do a thorough cleaning as they do get dusty. If you don't know how to do this to your camera, you might take it to a camera shop and see if they can clean it for you. Then you will be able to enjoy your camera some more. It sounds like you have a really nice camera and it would be a shame to have to replace it if it is not necessary.

I have two cameras. They're both digital and both take sd cards which is fine for me. One I keep with me all the time and is just a regular camera but works fine for everyday things I find interesting. The other one is a bit better and we use it when we go somewhere and know we are going to take plenty of pictures. I like both and they both serve me well, but the second one does take better pictures. As for your camera, I am wondering what is bringing that black mark, maybe it would be worth try to find out. Olympus is fine and if you can figure out what the problem is and fix it it will be just fine.

Fuji S9600 - Fuji S9600 is a very good digital camera.
My camera is Fuji S9600 and I am very satisfied with it. It uses both XD and CF card. Anyway, the memory cards are quite cheap today. I use a 2GB XD card and 4GB CF card for my digital camera, so it's already enough for me to take as many as photos I like because I have totally 6GB storage. Besides today's digital camera is less expensive, I suggest you buy one as you like traveling a lot. You shall take lots of beautiful photos to share us. I love China

I like my camera, but I'm ready to upgrade to a DSLR soon. I have a Kodak EasyShare and it has a x7 zoom. It does good work, but I'm ready for something better. I'm really getting into photography heavily and I just want something better and a little more advanced with it's features. I'm hoping to get a new one soon but the choices can feel overwhelming. They're are so many to choose from and DSLRs can get real expensive.

It maybe an idea to take your camera to a specialist camera dealer for advice. It could be that the mark can be removed. I'm not sure how old your camera is or what the cost of it was, your decision to replace it will also depend on these factors. Hopefully, some other myLotters might be able advise, but suspect that you will need someone quite knowledgeable to take a look at the camera. Hope this will be of some help to you. All the best. :~)

i have a cannon digital camera 7.1 megapixel and the photos are really lovely and we are really satisfied with it, the pictures are of good quality and we can take short videos and the quality of videos is also good but i found one thng which i am a little not satisfied is at night when we take videos i can find some pixel in the video so i am not that satisfied with that and all others are really fine. we use sd card and it is easy to use. my photos can be put directly in a movie without any editing also. so we are quite satisfied with the camera and we have been using it from 2years and i havent found any problems. and my camera is very handy and small like a mobile.

I like my cameras...I mean, I really like my cameras: Canon and Panasonic and Nikon and Sony. Don't tell the others, but I like my Canon 50D best! They take a mix of CF and SD cards, and before you think of replacing your camera, see about getting it cleaned: the most likely explanation is dirt on the sensor. It is less common on compact cameras than on SLRs (which let dust in easily when you change lenses) and it will probably cost less to have it clean than to replace it.

Mine is an HP photosmart e427... It's an average digital camera with 6MP but I don't think I'll need a new camera yet since it's not my profession :P it takes SD MC up to 2gb and I got an 1gb card... The pictures are pretty good so I won't say that I'm unsatisfied... :)

Hi maxima, I have never tried buying my own camera so, whatever is given to me by hubby, I love it..LOL! I have no problem with my camera right now,, it is canon a powershot A570 IS..takes great picture! I guess you need to get a new one because as I can see you love traveling and it takes time for you to edit all the pictures in that camera!

I have a Sony Cybershot and it is really good, I do think I could take even better photographs if I learned how to use all the functions it has. If you aren't happy with your camera then get a new one. I got the best I could afford and it was well worth the money. I can't remember what type of memory card it has but it is 2gb.

If you hate knowing that you'll need to edit all the time then yes it ma be worth getting a new camera! I have just got a Fuji finepix fd50 and up to now it's excellent! I have not had chance to fully explore all it's capabilities but, so far I am loving how brilliant it is and the pictures from it are great! It takes and XD card so it would suit the card you already have. : )

Honestly, my digital camera was my xmas gift from my hubby, he said he want me to buy an expensive one coz i might break it. And i don't like it. It never takes a nice photo specially at night,it does'nt have a long life battery, it never takes a nice photo of moving objects. I am thinking to replace it when i got a money. Happy posting.
