I don't carry an inhaler but if you take a packed lunch every day then out it in your lunch box. If you don't take your lunch then put the inhaler in the pair of shoes you will be wearing the next day and you will immediately notice it when you go to put them on. If neither of these two ideas are OK then try to work out your patterns each morning and include the inhaler prominently in one of them!

I'm with James72.
I have two inhalers, one in the bathroom and one in the car. If it's something you have to take routinely like Advair, keep it where you go routinely-- in my case, i could take it right after a morning shower.
And since my car is always nearby, I can walk right over any time of day, take a dose, and put the inhaler back in the glove compartment/center console.
You can also keep it in your backpack...I once saw a keychain holster for the albuerol spray at a pharmacy once, you could givethat a try.

if you have a cell phone with a reminder function then use that. or make a chart. you need to incorporate into your daily routine so that you always do it. if you can do it for 6 weeks i think it is, then it becomes a habit. have it next to your toothbrush so you always use it before you brush your teeth or something like that. it will work if you persevere

I almost always bring my inhaler with me just in case. I keep it beside my wallet and my other personal stuff such as my watch, my keys, my IDs and they're in a very visible place so I'd see them almost all of the time. It became sort of automatic for me to take it anywhere I go. I did forget to take it one time though and sadly, it was when I needed it the most and we were in a remote area.

Sorry you have asthma and have to take an inhaler. I take my inhaler too much. I can never breath. My inhaler is always in my handbag. Do you go on your PC in the morning. Write a note on your gadgets and score it off when you remember. Just carry it around all the time with you. I even have one in the car. Carrying an inhaler around could save your life.
Sorry about things to do that help you remember to take it, I too forget to take my tablets twice aday, so my mum bought me a pill box with days on it and times of the day. When I check it I can see if I forgot. I do not think there would be one to fit an inhaler into but you could put pieces of paper in one, and when you take your inhaler, take a piece out. Then at lunch time, then at dinner time. Actually this would work. Just check it often through out the day, and take out the bits of paper as you use the inhaler. Fill it up again when it is completely empty. Then refill it again. They usually have a week of compartments and have four for each day.

All it took for me to remember my inhaler in every bag I carry be it my purse or my briefcase is when I had to go to the ER and they came at me with that giant needle. YIKES!!!
I always keep mine in my purse. So it's easy to find. For me or for anyone. I make sure it is right next to my wallet.
If you need to get into the habit of remembering things, especially for leaving the house for work and/or school, try doing checklists until you autopilot your leaving routine.
Despite recent findings about nine of the top current asthma treatments, it is very important that you keep your inhaler/treatment all within a 30 second distance.
I hope this helps!

I have to take 4 asthma pumps so I keep a bag with them in by the bed. I take them in the morning before I get up and then again when I go to bed. I also make sure I have my emergency on in my handbag or a coat pocket before I go out. My asthma is pretty bad so I hve to make sure I take my pumps when they are due to be taken or I get real trouble with my breathing.
