WARNING. It seems that the paid to click sites / most of them contain viruses/malware/spyware which is maliciously set to your computer when you click on an advertisers ad. I joined here 2 weeks ago and throughout the last 2 weeks I've been joining and participating in ptc sites which i see being discussed here. I scan my computer every day for viruses but didn't scan it within the last two weeks for spyware/malware. i realize that my super fast computer became slower than usual within the last two weeks of ptc participation. So I scanned my pc for spyware and was shocked to see SIX HUNDRED AND 20 (620) Malicious spywares secretly placed on my computer. most of them contain an "advertiser" or "ad" title somewhere in the long file name. I've been clicking on a lot of advertisers banner from ptc sites. note that the ptc site owners may not even know that this is happenning. or they might, but they making a lot of money from you clicking so no one would say anything. I heard before that they might contain virus/spyware but didn't pay much attention until i saw the six hundred spy ware on my computer. by the way, for those who do not know, i spyware is a program or file which someone places on your PC without your consent or knowledge and it can record your internet activity and sends data telling someone (usually a hacker) everything about your PC, and about you yourself and what you do on the internet. what websites you visit and things you do there. they also can allow hackers to access your computer and view files on it, steal files or delete them. personally, i don't think all of that is worth it just for a 1 cent click. if you still plan to participate all i can say is scan your PC and make sure you aren't been watched on the internet.

Thank you for the warning. Yet I scan my computer daily, upon opening and closing of any file. I keep an updated anti-virus and anti-spyware that catches them before they are downloaded. I Think it is very important to scan your computer everyday. I Look at it as prevented medicine for my computer.

It is quite common. But the part where you state that hackers install programs into our computers is very scary. Is there a way to prevent in automatically and unknownly by our coputer themselves? Whats the side effect of those virus when they are inside your computer? I would like to know and maybe next time i could catch the bug.
