What picture do you have on your desktop? Is it a picture of your family, of an animal, or something that came with the computer? Perhaps a celebrity or cartoon character?Up until yesterday I had a picture of my toddler hugging my recently deceased cat (while he was alive of course). I decided yesterday I needed a new desktop, so I put up a picture of a red panda I had taken at the zoo a few months back. What's on your desktop?

Mine is a picture of a purple flower right now. I actually had to minimize my myLot window and look I pay that little attention to it.

LOL, that's funny. I actually also pay very little attention to my desktop as well. I almost always have at least one window open, so my desktop rarely ever shows.

Is that like a wallpaper thing? I have never actually messed about with that part of my computer yet funnily enough. I only really know the basics of a computer, how to switch it on and the internet everything else I have not really messed with. I have a few free online courses that I keep meaning to do to learn all the basics of a computer but I have just not got around to doing it yet!

I've never been good at taking courses, I like to learn hands on, so I taught myself everything I needed to know about computers, which is actually quite a bit. My husband works with computers, he can actually take one apart and put it back together perfectly. He knows the ins and outs of any computer, so I've learned a lot from him, and if I'm stuck on something I can ask for his assistance, but I only get stuck when my puter crashes from a virus or something of that sort.

I am a traditional person and I left the windows xp default desktop that is the green grass with blu sky and white clouds. I prefer to leave my computer without much additionals as this might slow my computer. © ronaldinu 2008

Currently, my desktop consists of a taskbar that's of a green and blue color (standard Windows XP) design), but currently, I have a wallpaper of a night skyline that I got from the website SkyScraperCity, in which I always go to whenever there's a sunny day. I like to travel, but I don't drive, so I use day/night skylines for my wallpapers from that site at www.skyscrapercity.com .

For a few months I had a picture of my kids in their wagon. I usually have a picture of them up I just change it every so often. Right now though I have a picture I took on our mini vacation to Bridge Day in West Virginia. It is a nice shot of the mountains from the bridge in the morning. I'll probably leave that up for awhile and then put another picture of the kids up.

I don't normally like putting pics of my kids up, only because I'm usually so frustrated at them that I don't want to look at them on my computer, lol. I will put pics of the babies up, cuz they don't frustrate me nearly as much, lol.

Mine is a plain grey background. I use a program called GeekTool to display random bits of information on there. Currently I've got my IP address, list of upcoming meetings, system uptime, list of most used commands, list of running processes, the track currently playing in iTunes and the current terrorism threat level (To monitor whether it would be a good time to leave work early and get the hell out of london ;)) http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektool/

I change mine too when I feel I need a change. I will do our children or grandchildren, scenic or just something that I have taken that caught my eye. When it is scenic I lean more to the water themes and animals. Hmmm come to think of it almost anything can and does catch my eye and is fair game!

My desktop paper were usually graphics based. But ever since I got married, my husband changed the desktop to pictures of us together.. I never usually do that.. But it was him who actually changed the desktop to that.. So I guess it's really sweet.. and interesting as well.. :)

My desktop background is blank. Just plain white nothing. I used to put different pictures there but I got bored. About 15 minutes after I don't do anything with it, screen just goes dark, as if I have my computer turned off. It is one of the options with "screensavers" to put "nothing" on. Actually, it's called "blank", I think. My screen just goes dark.

Nothing. I don't like all of that stuff on my desktop. My daughter (on my laptop) has Fall Out Boy on her log in.

My desktop, which I hardly ever use anymore, has a fall picture with beautiful trees and colored leaves as the background. I usually use my laptop which I am on now. It has a picture of our granddaughter coming off the soccer field last year in a Tournament. Her granddaddy took it as she was coming to the stands in between the games.

The picture of the moon. It's really cool and creepy at times, that's why I keep it there like that. I love the moon for reasons I don't quite understand, so I'm really fascinated on the moon shot. Have a nice day.
