Actually it was an easy game and we could have won it easily but only made it complicated for ourselves in the second half. The course of the match totally changed in the second half thanks to the defensive blunders of the team, but nonetheless, we won.
Great play by Ronaldo throughout the game, Berbatov was awesome, Rooney was powerful in the first half but lost his composure in the second half and looked desperste to get his 100th goal.
We made Hull look like a grat team and they retaliated in the second half. Anyway, we've got 3 points in the bag andmoved to 3rd position in the table, maybe 4th if villa wins its clash against newcastle.
Waiting for the next 2 matches against celtic and Arsenal, hoping for much better 2nd half displays.

Yep, another performance that has left me baffled. If anyone has observed last season was all about team performance and workineg hard for each other. But ever since a few people have been established firmly as stars, they now lose there head on the pitch and only think of themselves i.e rooney and ronaldo. I have always been a big rooney fun but now am tired of his nonsense. he should grow up. Yesterday he went about gesturing and throwing tantrums like a baby and this does not do any good for others on the team. it breaks morale down. Then their is "mr. madrid" "Mr i want to leave"n who is just playing for his personal glory. Fergie needs to sort out these heads and get them playing for united and not themselves before the team self destructs.

yes manchester played awesome in the the first half and could have won it easily in the first half if they had better finishing . ronaldo was good but not the best because he plays for himself as he wants to score all the goals , he could have passed the ball to others who were in a better position to score. he is selfish but a good player,he should think about the team rather than himself.
the team was switched once they scored the 3rd goal. and so hull managed to get 2 goal back and put pressure on manchester and it almost payed off for hull. hull played well.
manchester are beginning to show their class but they tend to slow down once they are in a good position and hence the other team takes advantage.
MANCHESTER UNITED ROCK!!!! happy mylotting

yeah, the late goals given away to chelsea and liverpool really hurt. The liverpool match and the UCL final we won had something common. We scored first in bothe matches, conceded in the first half due to bad luck(remember VDS slipping before lampard scored?). And then we lost control of the match. Luckily we held on in the finals and won on penalties.

Crazy Man Utd! How come they play like that in the second half? Do they know that by playing like that, they let their supporters to mentally suffering. It's very frightened to see Hull managed to score another two more goals while hoping the refereen will whistle for the game to be finish. However, Ronaldo keeps on going back to track with another two goal performances. Poor Rooney, never get his chances yet.

Yap! I agreed with you. I watched the match and I very confident that the team will easily won the game in big score amount. But suddenly the performance was changed in the 2nd half and it was like scary movie. Luckily the team could depend until to the end of the game. The more important thing is keep win the game and reached the top of the table for the batle of the trophy.

I've seen the match and I congratulate Hull City for their attitude and approach on the game. They behaved like a good team and didn't tried to jam their own goal with everything they have (including the club bus) like many of the small clubs do. They came out and played for the win! That's how they managed to score 3 goals on Old Trafford!
I'm really sorry for Rooney, you could see how much he wants that 100th goal, but it will surely come, soon I hope, because it puts some pressure on him that's not necessarily useful. Heskey scored his 100th goal yesterday, congrats to him for this achievement!
Hull City dropped on the 6th place for now (they have 20 p. just like Arsenal and Aston Villa, but Villa have still to play against Newcastle) while Man Utd are now on the 3rd place, 5 points behind and one game less than Liverpool and Chelsea. I hope they keep up the good shape!

In the end, it is the result that matters most, and I am happy that Man U got their 3 points and has slowly but surely scaled up the ladder to third place. With Arsenal and Liverpool losing ground this weekend, the time is now for Man U to be challenging for the leadership position. It's heartening to know that Ronaldo's coming back to scoring ways, and that can only augur well for United. What an awesome outfit Man U will be in the coming matches if Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov and even Tevez are all firing on four cylinders.
