I Accidentlally Drink Petrol ? What Should I do ?

Well i think you better see a doctor before you get any brain damage yea . even if there is no damage it might damage your orgrans yea . it is better to get a full xray and full medical check up yea .

Well if you are not feeling stomach pains or feeling dizzy most probably your safe with it in the meantime. But if you feel any discomfort or anything it is advisable that you consult your doctor as soon as possible. One way to contraindicate anything that you swallowed that is poisonous is by drinking milk it makes your stomach calmer they say but I really do not know how effective it is. Sometimes it is best that you get it out of your system the soonest possible time.

See a doctor! You drank petrol! Yeah it might kill all the bugs in your stomach but it could also burn your organs and stomach lining. Petrol is toxic stuff. I really hope you went to the doctor.

How are you feeling just now....I think you need to go to a doctor immediately if you are feeling a cold sensation in your mouth. Though the insects in your stomach may die I dont think you should wait for something else to happen. A few ml of petrol may not kill you but you may have some other reaction.

Personally, to be on the safe side, at least call a doctor's office or urgent care facility, like an emergency room to get some actual advice from a professional. I wouldn't take anybody's advice here on myLot as being a professional opinion, especially with something that could possibly be so harmful if not treated quickly.

Absoluty don't piss! Try to throw up instead! and keep in a glass, you will beable to use it again for the motorbike. With the actual petrol price, is a crime waste petrol!!!!!! To be serious, don't worry, it will not happen nothing. Everyone done that before or later, expecially in youth. Just the taste will be not so good, but you're lucky, i done that with Diesel, once, and i can assure you the taste of petrol is really much better ;)

ehmmm..., it never happened to me before... so i don't really know the answer... but i think it is better for you to still go to the doctor and consult them... there is no harm in doing that... it is better to be safe than sorry... hope you will be alright though... take care and have a nice day...

Don't worry Dear Ganesh ! Nothing will happen to you ! I too had similar expriences many a times and invariably I must have consumed some petrol every time and nothing happend to me! As a child I used to copy the feats by fire eaters where they used to eat the fire and blow the fire torches by blowing Kerosine from their mouths. I did this feat many atimes and I have consumed kerosine during this time! But nothing happend to me. I think petro and kerosines like other mineral oils will passs out through your gut without causing any harm. Well the quantity is also too small! Don't you worry about it and be cheerful! Laugh and be merry ! Petrol can't make any harm to you ,that is my personal;experience which says So! So be happy and respond what happend to you tomorrow morning !! I think you may hardly have a diarrhoea, that too if you have a very weak or delicate digestive system! If you are having good resistance then nothing will happen to you! I guess you will be alright. Since it is fairly a small amount. It happens a lot to most mechanics in my country when they try to manual sip petrol through a hose to transfer some of it to another container. Of course, as a rule if you do have any medical history of certain allergies you should try to see your doctor. Otherwise you will do fine. Cheers!

I see you are in India so do the not have a poison control center telephone number you can call. You probably needed medical attention. The instructions I found say not to throw up (it does damage on the way back up as it does going down) and drink some water or milk. You probably should have had your stomach pumped out if it was a large quantity, but I am sure lots of people have done the same thing as you and survived. Please remember in the future that gasoline is a poison and can damage your lungs and brain.

i guess not too many to get you get killed...i guess you must try drinking coconut milk so that you may vomit what s left in your stomach as your first aide..well it seems that its been 3 days that happened..and your still here? then maybe atleast you had consulted a doctor by now...

I would have called Poison Control or the hospital as it can cause damage. I do not know how much can cause damage but I would still, if I were you, call the doctor, asap.

I don't know the answer, but do you have a way to call poison control? That's what I would do. It's always better to call or look on the internet, there may be something you can eat like bread or maybe baking soda? I'd sur efind out. Good Luck

Go to the doctor immediately and bring a petrol sample so that the toxicologist will have to determine the gravity of your condition. What you did is fine but I'm concerned that you may have in contact with mercury which is often mixed with petroleum products. I suggest that you go seek emergency help now.

You've got to burn out the petrol - like you would do when you drive a vehicle until it runs out of petrol. So start running round your neighborhood as fast as you can - but on the road please - because you maybe faster than you think powered with all that petrol.
