If you couldn't have both but only one, What would it be mylotters? The internet, or a million bucks?..
Oh and you are not allowed to buy the internet out of your million dollars. How much do you love your internet?..Is that love as strong as your love for a million bucks?Hmmmm.
I'm addicted to the internet, it's really hard to live without it, but a million dollars? Hmmm. Let me think for a minute. You go first.

Well this is really a tough choice and I will really need a miracle to chose the correct answer.
.....Well I use the internet mostly for finding information, chatting and sending mails, mylotting etc....But 1 million US dollars is really a huge sum .
Ok miracle I have a deal....I have used the internet for many years and so I know what I can and cannot do with it.So if you will give me the million dollars now,I will use it first, and stop using the internet for some time and then decide which one of the two is better....
.......What say you......![](/Content/images/emotes/wub.gif)

Hey rose, that's the beauty of this discussion, for some people that could be a difficult question, it really depends on how addictive(or NOT) they are to the internet.
Testing the waters first by using the million now while going without the internet for A WHILE is considered cheating.
I want to know your answer without all the testing and trials, so again, would you give it up the internet for a million.
Waiting for your reply.

Ok I give up.....I dont like cheating..
Ok I will opt for the million US dollars....
I am not all that addicted to the internet.......Infact I have lived more than half my life without using computers and internet, and if I have to revert back to those times,no problem..........I will find other means of communication and information with so much money at my disposal.......And I have always wanted to do social work,so this money will really come useful...
Ok Miracle, how and when do I collect the money? And after I get the money of course I will not be online or mylot,I will sent you a hand written thank you letter,so dont forget to give me your postal address too......![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Absolutely! I love the 'net but most things could be replaced.
I use the net to communicate - I will switch to telephone, SMS, leters
I use the net to make money - I 've got a million dollars now!
I use the net to read the news - back to newspapers & tv.
I use the net to watch TV - back to watching cable.
I use the net to research - public library.
Yeah I would miss it, but for that much I would cope!

Yes. One million dollars will amount to nearly 50 million skadoodles in my country's currency. With that I could surf the real world a few times over - a lot more fun, satisfying and enriching than just surfing the virtual world wide web.

Abso-freaking-lutely!
With that million dollars, I can travel around the world and do whatever I want. It would keep me busy enough that I won't even have the time to think about the internet.

I am glad you asked, it's my turn to give my answer on this matter.
I've survived this long without a million dollars, plus I'm doing pretty good with just the internet, meaning I make enough money online to stay out of trouble and pay some major bills, and I know that I'm only gonna make more as time goes on, and that means I will have more savings to do a lot of things with, like going on trips, and doing other things that my family loves to do.
I may not have a million dollars, but I will be financially free and still keep my internet. So no, I wouldn't give it up.

In my present thinking I would go for the million bucks because as the other said, you can do so many things with it. But if you're smart enough, you can make more than 1 million dollars on the internet. So decisions are quite tough I would say...

So would you say that a million would be enough for you when added to your current income? Will it last for the rest of your life? if not, you can just start a business offline.

This is a very good question and if I had the choice of giving up the internet for million dollars it would take a lot of time and consideration before I could come up with the answer, especially since I could not have both, and could only have one because the million dollars would pay for mine and my fiances wedding it would also help us buy all the things we need and want, and it would help take a big chunk out of the bills my parents have to pay each month, and we would still have money left over to save in the bank with interest, and to take care of us for a while because we would not go to crazy with the money, but at the same time the internet can be used to make money on sites such as mylot, and the internet can also be used to communicate with friends and family, and me and my fiance both check our myspace everyday to see if any of our friends have messaged us or anything, and I check my email everyday, and we also order stuff online from places like WalMart.com,so I am not sure which one I would choose, but most likely I would choose the million dollars but I guess it would just depend on the circumstances at the time.

You're right, a million dollars can solve a lot of problems in your life, and that would be a good reason to choose the money.

One Million Dollars? Well, I'll be honest. I'd give up the internet for that sum my dear! Why not? I've lived about 3/4 of my life without the internet so why can't I give this up for a very big sum. No need for me to surf the net to chat with my friends, I can go to them and chat in person with that big amount I have in hand. I will not need any online jobs at all but I can set up my own business to employ people and help them earn money. Of course I have to find a business that will not need the use of Internet. Ha!ha!ha!

I always recommend that people do whatever makes them happy or the happiest. If watching TV hearing music, having long holidays makes you really happy, then go for it, just don't spend it all in one place. haha.

I can honestly say that I would not take a million dollars to discontinue my use of the internet forever. The internet is just going to become more and more important to society, and I can't be sure that it won't become neccesary. I would however take a million dollars and discontinue use of the internet until I paid back the million dollars. I could make another million through investments fairly easily with the help of one person to print information from the internet(lol) to aid me in my investing. So, lose the internet forever for that much? Absolutely not. Lose it until a million dollar loan is repaid? Definitely.

Great answer! and unique. Forever is a long time, and that one million dollars may not be forever, so when that million is gone, then what? unless you're using that million to make more millions, offline.

I would give it up for a million dollars. That would not be a hard decision at all, my family needs money too bad, but that is the bad part , after we paid off our debts we would not have a lot left. Maybe enough to buy a house.

Hmmm. I love internet, I have been using it since 14 years. For me it is a good source of knowledge, a communication media, a passtime, my bread and butter. So I will give a thought on leaving it. and after giving a long thought I will leave it for 1 million bucks. because, if I have that money I can very well start a business and multiply that amount, many folds. As I said earlier it is a good source of knowledge..so are the books, A communication media..so is a cell phone, A passtime..I wont have any time, My bread and Butter..I will have my own business.
Yes, cash is always better.

It would have to be more than a million, more like 5 million. Just to make up for the lack of communication, after all money does not buy happiness. But with that kind of money i would create a live network perhaps just using my cell phone and text messages. A very good question however...

So your answer is yes? you'll give it up for the one million? NOT 5 million.
I take that as a yes.

Are you offering me a million to give up the internet? Sure, as soon as you send me the check I will swear off the internet. I got along without it for most of my life except for the last few years and would get along without it again. I can't seem to get along without money though so the choice is easy.

What's sad is that all we can do is talk about it, no one is passing it out.
