I live in New Jersey and gas is dropping every day. A week ago it was $2.29 and a couple days ago it was $2.25. Yesterday it was $2.17 and today I saw it for $2.11. It would be great if it went under $2. I hope it stays low for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have to travel.

Wow, I thought the eastern states would have higher gas prices than where I am at in Tennessee, but your gas is cheaper than ours. That's awesome. I love low gas prices! Now when is this going to start boosting the economy??

Wow that is great! I head people on the radio talking about how we were never going to get below $2 ever again, I guess they were wrong! YAY! Also, I just drove by my gas station and it was $2.29 it just keeps going down. Very very happy :)

I live in the philippines and thought that gas here in our country is much higher than in other countries. I read all their comments to your discussion and thought that your gas is very very high compared to our gas. Your gas ranged from $1.9-2.5 while here in our country it is only 40-47 pesos. Today foreign currency rate here in our country is $1.0 is equal to 48 pesos.

Gas where I live was $1.99/gallon when I left for work this morning and $1.96/gallon when I drove by the gas station after work. YAY!! But gas has been around $2.05/gallon here for quite some time. I do work about 45 minutes away and gas is about $2.10-$2.15 there, but that is still better than it was over a month ago! =]

Yesterday I paid $2.149/gallon. It's really sickening that we think we're getting such a break now when in reality we were being gouged before!
In essence, I was being overcharged $33.30 every tank a month ago.

Here in my country the price of petrol used to be RM2.70 per liter. Now it had dropped to RM2.15 per liter and I am happy because the government had been kind enough to help us in this situation. The money which was first used to purchase petrol can now be used to purchase other things for example our food which is the most important thing. I am very relieved now and I hope the price would not increase again.
I know now there is an option to use the NGV gas. It is much cheaper than the ordinary petrol but we have to install the equipment into the car. The price is quite expensive and not all petrol stations sell NGV gases. It is only available in big towns and cities, so I find it to be inconvenient for the moment.
If the use of NGV has been widened to all places in my country I think I want to switch to NGV because I can save a lot of money and use it for other purposes.

I am now residing in PANAMA, overseas. Gas prices for OCTANE 95 is $2.98 / gallon
while the lower grade is $2.78. That's a sigh of relief from between the range in price from $4.75 - 5.00.Hope it will decline a few cents more and stabilize for the good of us all.

Ah! America... the land of the cheap drop! When I first read this post I thought "$2.49 that's a lot!" The I realised you are talking gallons. The rest of the world (well, most of it) thinks in Litres: roughly 5 to the gallons. We are currently at $1.30 per litre here in Australia. That's about $6.50 a gallon before you allow for an Aussie dollar currently buying just 62 US cents.
