Incense or Candles

I have always been a candle fan especially soy candles and home interiors candles but I like candles a bit more because I use them for lighting too. I like the looks of them and I mix and match them around my household. Incense is great too dont get me wrong especially when I want an instant smell and my fav. incense Stella blue by auricblends.com is the best! The smell lasts foreva:)

I prefer candles. All incense has an under lying odor that I don't like.

i love incense.actually in india its a daily ritual to light incense during prayers in the mornings and in the evenings.it gives a lovely aroma to ur house and also is a insect repellent.i prefer the costly ones-they have soothing fragrance and lasts long.

Candles do not smell much unless lighted then put off. I prefer the smell of incense. Incense was used in the temple of God in the Old Testament. God likes the smell of incense very much.

Incense smells is better than candles i think.

i love candles, i collect them and have a ton of them around the house. my home is my sanctuary, so i like different fragrances for my different moods. i also saved a bunch from christmas, so whenever i start missing it, i just light up a candle and it takes me back. great memorys.

i like the incense more than the candles and i like the sandalwood flavour very much. it seems to me that i reach paradise when the smell of the incense surrounds the room

i like candles better because the scent is subtle. bi like vanilla scented candles the best. i like candles also because it is very relaxing to stare at them long and they give a romantic glow.

I think incense have more of an earthy smell ~ and that is okay, sometimes that is just what I want. Candles do a better job of filling the room yet in a lighter more gentle way. I don't use either one of them very much because my sinuses get aggrivated by them. I like to use candles especially around the holidays and even though it sounds crazy I just take some sinus meds in order to have a festive smelling house.

I can not stand the smell of incense so I would have to say candles, incense is too strong for me I much prefer the subtle smell of a candle

I prefer the smell of incense. Candles sometimes have smells which are too flowery for my liking. I prefer more of musk and fruit smells

wonderful . gr8 topic . for me the preference goes to incense , because it is not only gives u beautiful smell but also change the atmosphere and the moods of the person. that's why we light incense before god . so that he may get pleased with our service and pur grace on us. Me , a south indian and we use to use incense in poojas. I also know that christians use candles for pooja/prayer in church . but i could not able to judge the smell of the candle . if is there any please let be be informed. thanks
