Do You Wear a Bathrobe Around the House?

I have a bathrobe that I've had for many years and it's still in great shape. It's a big white terry cloth one from Victoria's Secret that someone gave me a long time ago. I usually put it on if it's cold outside and I have just had a bath or a shower. I'll walk around the house for about an hour or so and then go get dressed. Some people can spend a whole day in their bathrobe. Do you wear a bathrobe around the house?

I do wear my bathrobe after taking a shower, or early in the morning when getting my kids up ready for school, just so I do stay warm now since it's cool here. and I do wear it at night getting ready to go to bed, you never know who might knock on the door at any time of the day. so i do wear mine sometimes I do use it to cover up with.lol so does my daughter. That isn't weird at all. I do that sometimes when I am really cold. Then once I get hot I will take off the bathrobe.

I do have a bath robe and i'm wearing mine right now .I like having it close when it is cold to put on when i'm up and about the house until i get ready for the day. Some times when my gown is not enough to keep me warm it is very nice to have on and i love how soft it feels .It is a nice way to just relax and stay warm.

If I could go around town and do shopping in my bathrobe I would LOL. I practically live in mine as soon as I get home I will go get in my pajamas sometimes in the middle of the day and slide into my nice comfy robe. It makes me feel like I am all nice an cozy.

I have one. Don't usually wear it. I like to sit around the house without cloths on. That's my thing. Not sure why. For one a robe is so hot. I blow dry my hair. I just like to be comfortable. Ya know?

As long as you're comfortable and don't get cold then that's all that matters.

Yes I have to get up in the middle of the night to take the dog out and I wear it then, I also wear it when I fix breakfast, then I shower and put on street cloths.

I do wear a bathrobe around the house. I have had it for a couple of years and had gotten it at Wal-Mart. A Christmas preasant for myself. It is one of those fuzzy ones. I some times will wear it most of the day even after getting dressed. I like to use it as a jacket to keep warm now that the days are getting cold. It is warmer than any sweats or any thing else that I own. It is so cozy too. I love the big pockets as I clean around the house.

That's so funny, I had a white and a purple terry cloth Victorias secret one also, several years old, I gave the purple one to a friend and wore out the white one! I am having the hardest time trying to replace that old bathrobe! It's difficult to find pure terry cloth ones! I have been known to spend a good part of the day in my bathrobe, especially on snow days when the kids can't go to school, otherwise I MUST get dressed!

I do not generally wear a bath robe around the house. If I feel cold, I will put one on over whatever I a wearing. I have a lot of bathrobes that were given to me as wedding shower gifts. My husband has a white terry cloth robe, that he only wears after he has taken his shower, he likes to air dry with the robe on.

I still have a couple from my wedding shower too but not the kind that keeps you warm.

I used to wear them all the time when my children were home. But, now that it's only my husband and I, I never wear one. I usually get up, eat breakfast, and then put on clothes. I wear a gown to bed, so I like to get up and put on sweats or slacks and shirt. I get up and turn up the heat so the house gets warm and I don't have to have lots of thick clothing on. I think the robes are pretty, but not too practical for me, for the cost.

I certainly do! any time i'm in PJs, i'm in my robe. in the winter time it's my fuzzy robe. In the summer, i don't wear one as often, but i have a lighter weight one to wear when i want to. Actually, in the summer, i like turning the air conditioning up high and wearing my fuzzy bathrobe, it's very comfy!

Nope! Its too hot in here to do that. Plus there's only me and my husband. Our rented flat is not that big and has no room. I do have one but its in my closet.
