where do you prefer

That's exactly where I live - downtown, and I can see the moor from my kitchen window. But country will be OK also. I can't imagine myself living in the middle of the town.

I grew up in the city, but I live in the country now. I wouldn't want to go back to the city, I love it here.

the country certainly is the place for me too .when i lived in the city i really missed just the simpliest things people don`t hear like birds chirping all day long

Oh the country any day for me ..... city is okay if driving around it rather than through it but that is all .... sometimes we do go to visit friends south of Melbourne and it is so noisy ..... even for me and I drive a truck most of the week. My partner has lived all of her life in the country and will not even consider moving to somewhere a little larger because she is so used to the peace and no traffic. She can walk everywhere she wants to go here .... known everyone and they know her too ..... she would be lost in the city which is not friendly really in the way that the country is.

the country does have it`s freedom and when we thought we were to move a few weeks back i was devistated to even think of loosing the freedom my kids can enjoy at present

I lived both city and country(middle of nowhere type place... X_X). Right now I live in not toooo country but air is way better than where I lived(I was living in Queens,NY)and also not too far to go to Manhattan so I love in between!

i think most of thee time you are never bored living in the country as there is always something to do it may not be as exciting as what you would do in the city but if you had a chance to do some of the activities that we do then i`m sure you would soon change your mind

definately a plus for the country and it takes ages for for you to get use to it
