Just Curious about 2 things:-

last month i bought a Nikon s600...your pics are giving me some inspiration to try that out ...
it has been lying in one corner in my bag...
actually it has been raining very heavily in this part of the world for the last two weeks...
i plan to take it out once the weather is a bit tolerable...

I love water lilies a lot.
I also am a lover of flowers and love photographing them as well.
I'll have a lot this spring and summer etc.
I lost all my photos when my cpmp caught fire recently.
I also go to a wildflower place near me that has so many
various wild and regular flowers from all over.
I'll be going there next Summer as well for more photos.
Loved the shot and thanks again for a great shot as usual.

I have to learn to start saving mine on disc as well.
I always forget then something happens.
I had many great shots too saved at one point.
I use Nortons and have my photos stored there on backup I believe.

It's almost impossible to comment on important aspects like focus, definition, saturation etc. when you are looking at a 500 pixel photo. But what is obvious is a good composition and sense of balance. I'd love to see more of your work, Amanda.

I have to agree with you on that one. But like many photographers the original is always best to have on hand and never post the original (size wise for theft purposes)

Really great shot! I love shooting flowers and tree's too, but I have a crappy point and shoot camera, so they don't come out as good as yours. :)

Honestly hun it's not about the camera it's all in how you use it ;) I have a Sony DSC-H2 so there is hope for your work yet. We are always our worst critics I'm sure your photos aren't that bad. Can't wait to get my SLR this month though and see what I'm able to do with my photos then.
