listen!!!!!

Boy, you're lucky to get any peace! My bunch have been horrible this afternoon!!! :¬( Fighting with each other, whining and crying at the least little thing - I wonder what has gotten into them? Right now my 5 year old is begging for a sandwich (he has just finished dinner too) and the other 2 are sitting glued to the TV, but whining about dessert. They all misbehaved this morning before school (tears, crying, etc...) and were told no sweets or treats of any sort for the rest of the day .. so now they have forgotten about this morning and are pleading! Oh my, now the 5 year old has dropped the blocks on his leg and obviously hurt himself ... but is blaming his 3 year old sister who was sitting quietly on the other end of the couch at the time.... AND SO IT CARRIES ON!!! and to crown it all off - Hubby has just called to say he is going to be late!!! I need some 'Calms'!!! lol

lol all the chatter of the studetns around me THAT IS REALLY confusing btw happy lotting and have a nice day!

i hear the tv on my right as i type away and occasionally turn my head to watch.

Hey there Anne18 There are very rare moments in my house like this but it is usually quiet whent he kids are asleep never during the day, never!! LOL

well i can here keyboard sound, some music which is going on right now. I can also here the sound of birds, cars in road. Its morning now here.

I hear the bark of dog, I hear the noise of tap water in the sink, I hear radio playing in the kitchen, and I hear the ZOOMing of my computer. Also the noise of keybord, and the noise of my breath and heartbeats. I can also hear silence. And the noise of passing train outside.

right now,there is blessed silence.my kids have gone to school and my hubby has gone out on errand.they will be all back in half an hour,after that the usual cacophony will start.

LOL!! Well, at least you have a few minutes of peace. ;) I hear a lot of noises right now--the tapping of the keyboard, my Mom in the kitchen, vehicles on the street, my pup and the big dog having a game, the neighbors talking, sounds from the construction site nearby, birds twittering, and ah...that's it, I guess. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

Right now, i can hear alot of things around me.. Me and my typing on the keyboard, all those talking around me, the tv, baby crying, handphone ringing as well as cooking.. lol =D MY house is so noisy now.. lol =D But during the time when u just started on this discussion, there was just me and the typing sound, because everybody is asleep except for me.. lol

I hear my fingers tapping on the keyboard and the printer humming. I also hear a lot of rain outside since it's been raining all night. The rest of the house is quiet. The kids are in bed but I know it's just a matter of time before one of them comes downstairs for something. Here comes my son now.............

Silence, do you think you have lost your hearing, I do it is so unusual around here. But sometimes in the snow or fog it can happen. What a joy that is.

I hear the annoyance of the TV, my youngest child cooing and spitting (her newest form of communication), My fiance talking about something ??? and the tapping of my keyboard. I have a killer headache!!!

I can hear the tapping of the keyborad and my heartbeat,TV .Maybe the enviroment around my home is too clam, especially in the night.

I can hear nothing but the fire popping in the fireplace mixed in with my fingers pecking away at the keys on my laptop. Little one has gone to school for the day... and Mommy has got the day off work!! I'd almost forgotten what doing nothing was like. I love it!

Oh, silence would be so nice. I hear my hubby typing on his keyboard next to me. The dog is snoring under me. The heater (which is loud) is running...as well as the refridgerator. I enjoy the quiet, when I can get it. Enjoy yours.

my house is never silent, the tv is always on, and my son is in the same room as me, talking on the phone right now.

And I thought you were talking about nobody being on myLot... I can hear typing and a phone conversation from one of my nearest neighbors. Atsabout it...

Just the furnace and the clock ticking.....and my keyboard of course. Need to go pick up my husband from work. See ya!

I can hear the tv,the pasta boiling, and that flipping tap dripping going to turn it off!

Right now, I hear the sound of raindrops outside my window and the sound of flowing water on the roof gutter..it makes me want slumber.
