Is your payout level set to $10,$25,$50 or $100? How do you use your earnings?

What is your myLot payout level set at? Why would anyone want to set their payout level to higher than $10? Does having a higher payout level help you with saving? Would anyone like to see a lower payout level? Perhaps $5 or $3?
What do you spend your earnings on? Do you save your earnings for something larger? I tend to spend my online earnings on computer parts when I need new equipment or an upgrade.

Mine has been set to $10.I personally feel that $5 should be really nice because that target is easier to meet every month and may be more people get their payout each month. You need to really work hard to reach $10, though i am not even halfway up there. With a target of $5 i think one would work that much more every moth to reach their target - strictly my feelings :)

It would be interesting to see how the posting habits and post quality would change if the payout level was $5. I agree that many more people would hit this level on a monthly basis. Perhaps this is why myLot starts payout at $10? MyLot might have to operate much closer to the edge and perhaps incur difficulties with payments if many more members are cashing out more frequently. I did receive payment today(proof is posted in my profile), and as long as the pay, $10 is okay with me.

I have my payout level set at $10. I had a hard time even meeting that last month. Seems I haven't been making that much lately. Before that, I had made every payout monthly. I have all my money still in Paypal, and will probably take it out around Christmas to spend on Christmas. Haven't decided yet.

Oh, I am glad Mylot is still around. I enjoy my time here, whether I make that much or not. But, I have made less than $3 and this is almost the 12th of the month. This is unusual for me, though. It started falling off last month. Took me several days last month to make the payout for this month. Doesn't look like I'll make it this month again, probably will be January. I have other money in Paypal that I've made some other place, so it's not just the money made here. I'm just waiting until I get paid from mylot this time to have the money sent to my checking account.

Personally, I am quite Happy with the $10 level in here. It gives me a chance to push myself a little more when I am behind so that I can easily make payout each month. Back when I had more time to be in here, I could set it at a higher payout and eaaily make that, but since my time online most days is quite limited, it is nice to just have it set at $10 and work accordingly so I can reach payout in here as well. And if I am wanting to save up for something special, I just leave the $$ in my paypal account until I need something as well.

Well, I would imagine that if you are hitting a $25 or better payout each month then you must be spending a considerable amount of time posting on myLot. Nonetheless, easily reaching $10 monthly isn't too shabby either. I am sure that referrals would really help your earning power. Having funds in your paypal account is a very handy thing indeed. There are plenty of good to be had online and many online stores are now accepting paypal as a form of payment. Good luck with reaching your goal. Cheers.

I set my payout level at $10, as I haven't get paid by mylot before, I just want to make sure it really pays before increasing my payout level. Also, I think setting the payout level lower motivates me as I'm happy to see the payout.
I haven't get any payment yet, so I haven't use my earnings yet. Perhaps I'll just keep it in PayPal account, until I need to buy something.

That is a wise approach when starting out earning as a new member on online sites. myLot most certainly does pay. I received my first payment from myLot today in my paypal account. Proof has been posted in my profile. Good luck.

I like to save up for larger purchases too. Having payments that go to your paypal account is advantageous for online shoppers. It's great if you are a member of eBay, but nowadays there are many more quality stores and online businesses that accept paypal as a payment method. Cheers.

My pay out level is set at 10 dollars. I plan on using my earnings on gas to get to professional wrestling shows that I perform at. It's a tough ten dollars to earn but I'm having fun so whatever!

Every little bit helps. I hope those wrestling events are local because online earning can be painstaking, especially in the beginning. Good luck.

I've kept my minimum myLot payment amount at $10 since I started 4 years ago. This is because I never was any good at soliciting referrals and as you can see from my post count. I'm not posting 24/7 so $10 is within reach for me for a monthly payment. I keep all my on-line earnings in PayPal and use it for purchases when I don't want to dip into my checking account.

I'm pretty sure that when I signed up, myLot was fairly new. I took some time off from it also when those other "paid" social networking sites started popping up but as you can see, I'm back.
Also, if you go to someone's profile, there is a section under where it displays that member's friends. It will tell you how many months (11 months in your case ) or years that they have been a member. It also says how many profile visits they had and the last time they logged in.
Have a great day.

Wow, you must have been around since the inception of myLot. How long has myLot been in existence anyway? I belong to a forum that displays membership sign-up dates and membership number based on when you joined. I liked that feature and it is too bad that myLot doesn't employ it here. I don't post 24/7 either, but reaching payout every month is a pretty good performance for online work imho. Cheers.

My payout is set to $10. I don't always hit my payout level but that's fine by me. I tend to let my earnings accumulate sometimes and then after that I either use them for things that I want or I use them for things that I need. It really just depends on my needs and wants at the time. My needs always trump my wants at the time however.

With a post count like yours, one would think that you are hitting payout more times than not. Needs are always supposed to trump wants.

I have my earnings payout set at $10. I always cash out at the lowest possible denomination. Internet sites come and go so fast that I want to make sure I get paid for the work I do.

This is the best advice that can be given to anyone attempting to earn online. You are wise indeed moneyandgc. If we had the choice, I'd vote for a payout level reduction to $3 or $5. $10 is the highest payout level that I would feel comfortable with. Cheers.

My payout is set two ten dollars and when I get it I usually just buy what I need.
I don't have any special plans for the money. There isn't really alot you can do with ten dollars anymore. I wish that there was. It is unfortunate.

While $10 doesn't stretch as far as it used to, it still can be very useful. There are still a lot of things that $10 can buy. It is important to be aware of what items cost and when sales come into effect. In difficult economic times, it becomes even more important to make every dollar count. I think part of the problem is that it takes much effort to earn the ten dollars, while money can be spent so easily and so quickly. Good luck out there.

I don't know if there is any of the 155,028 members on myLot who set their payout level to $100. Perhaps members who have a lot of referrals could make use of a $100 payout level?

I am new here and appericate the fact that you brought this up. I like it here but I see what you are saying about how the reccession can effect things. I still think money is to be made here so as for now I will stay and learn new things and make some new online friends. :)

Well I am sure that there are plenty of people who determine after a while that myLot isn't worth their effort and leave. We all have different reasons for coming here in the first place and then staying after a while if we are enjoying ourselves. MyLot does pay, you can check out my profile if you want to see proof, so it doesn't hurt to stick around to find out if myLot is right for you. Once you build up a reputation, earning gets easier and more members are willing to engage in discussion with you. Good luck.

Spending your $10 on phonecards is money well spent. Those phonecards can come in really handy. Not only can phonecards save you a lot of cash on your long distance calls, but the phonecards can help you keep your budget in check. It is easy to go over the limit that you have set aside when you are on a monthly plan or contract and you only get a statement periodically. Additionally, when some people are paying 30% on balances that they keep on their credit card, a phonecard might just be a lifesaver. Thanks for sharing theembittered.

i have seen another mylot discussion about the same topic. My minimum is set at $10, however I changed it to $50, I know it s hard to make it in a month but I will try. I am an ambitious person . There is no harm in trying.

If you reach payout quickly enough, then I would imagine that it wouldn't matter on some point? How quickly do you reach payout? Is anyone here reaching the $25 payout per month?

That is one of the great things about online earning opportunities and GPT sites. Almost all seem to offer paypal as a payment option. Even some of the survey sites that I am a member of have migrated to paypal for payments. Thanks for sharing.

mine is set at $10 and i haven't reached payout here yet...i'm not even halfway there. i would like a lower payout, the lower the better. hehe. i'd like to invest my earnings, but i don't know where yet.

I don't know how the financial system works in the Philippines, but in Canada you can set-up a payment schedule for mutual funds at the bank with as little as $25 per month. $25 a month is definitely feasible with online work alone. Good luck.

Earning is harder in the beginning before you have had a chance to establish a solid reputation. Once enough members pay attention to your comments and post in your threads, things begin to pick up. Hang in there.

Mine is set to $10, and if there is a lower pay out than $10 then i would definitely choose it, why? because for me its an assurance that i get paid for the effort i made. If the pay out is high there is a chance that after almost getting the amount, you will get blocked or kicked out, so i personally would recommend you guys to set it too into $10. If just wanna save, then save it to your local bank after transferring it to your paypal.

I can't argue with these comments as it is very sound advice. I can now vouch for myLot as I received my first payout to my paypal account today. As I have mentioned already, proof of payment is in my profile. It sounds like you are a saver. I'm a saver too.
