Hello sdas. I drink tea every day, but I usually drink tea in the office as most of the time I stay working in the office. I love to drink tea instead of plain water. I usually drink green tea.

I think that it depends on each individual. To me, I am not addicted to it. But if there is tea with me, I prefer tea than plain water.

hi sdas86, my dear friend, tea can be good as well as bad. it depends how much you take in a day.
i never use to drink tea but my hubby use to enjoy. then he told me that there are lots of reasons that he enjoy aa hot cup of tea. that whole night while having his tea, he was telling all this to me. he said that he loved the aroma of it, and holding onto a hot mug in your palms in winters in front of the fire place gives you such a relax.
tea contains anti-oxidants which protects our body from the ravages of aging and the effects of pollution. it has less caffine than coffee. it may reduce the risk of heart attack and strokes because unwanted blood clots formed from cholestrol and blood platelets cause heart attack. and drinking may help keep your artries smooth and clog free, the same way as the drain keeps your bathroom safe and clear. it has been found that people who drank tea for more than 10 years or so, had the strongest bones , even after adjusting for age. drinking may help your immune system fight off infection.
there was a lot what he told that night but i am not able to remember all. this was something simple. so i remembered.

Next to coffee is tea, for me. In the house, we usually have softdrinks or juice or iced tea, during meals. I also drink tea, hot tea when I feel discomfort in my stomach. That make me relieve for some reasons...

Hi sdas86. I love drinking tea, i drink various chinese tea, green tea, and red tea.
Basically, drinking tea is good for health. But there are some points that you must be aware of.
For example,
1. pregnant women cannot drink too much tea, just like coffee, it will increase the heart beats of the pregnant women and this is not good for baby. But i have read from somewhere that green tea is good for pregnancy as it has something that is good for baby. Forgive me, i don't remember what it is.
2. Do not drink tea while eating of just right after the meals, it's not good for digestion. It's suggested that it's better to drink tea after 1 hour of the meal.
Normally i drink tea while i'm having meal in the restaurant such as chinese and japanese restaurant. Even though i know that it's not good to drink tea while eating, but it already became our habit as we do it from we are small. It's hard to change.
In short, i think tea is better than coffee. That's what i think, please correct me if i'm wrong.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

Drinking green tea is good for health but in moderate amounts, excess of anything is bad. I am really fond of tea and in a day drink around 5 cups, it really gives you energy to work more and more. But somehow I drink tea with milk not green tea or lemon tea, that I take occasionally.

I like to drink tea since I was young, perhaps my grandfather and my father like to drink tea too, so I just follow their habit. I usually drink Chinese tea, as I think it smells stronger. But it's not good to drink too much tea too, it may hurt your stomach, especially if you have gastric problem. I usually drink tea after my meals.

Hello,Das! Actually tea has some medicinal value.Research has revealed that antioxidant found in tea can help in reducing cardiovascular diseases, prevent cancer and improve the immune system.Just two cups of tea may lower the risk of ovarian cancer.Studies have also found that it prevents blood clotting and lower the cholesterol levels. So it is better to drink tea at least two to three cups to stay fit.thanx.

I've heard that green tea is the best thing out there... as a matter of fact, a lot of vitamins contain tea extracts. Supposedly, if you replace your morning coffee with green tea, you can lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks... never worked for me though. I tried, trust me! lol The only thing I got from the tea was Really Dehydrated!!! - So, back to the coffee I went! ;) Give it a try... but I think I'll stick to the multivitamins to give my body the tea I need!
