Do you think year 2009 will be a worse year?

i dont know...we can just speculate...but whether it is accurate or not...or it may come true or not..i guess it depends. somebody might be lucky this year, and somebody may think this is the worst year of their life. it depends on what the situation a person is going. but i surely hope that its an improvement to mine though (who wouldnt?) i wouldnt want to welcome badluck hehehe..i have just enough of it..i want to have an ounce of goodluck once in a while. i cant just suffer all the time..right? anyway, life is unfair...we could only hope and work for the best :) but as of this moment, lets not just be pessimistic about it...lets just look on the brighter side..lets not just waste our time worrying about some bad things that will happen in the future. life is short they say..lets just enjoy it while we can. :)

2009 is a rather important year for me as I've just graduated from U. ^^ I never thought that it would be a worse year (2008 wasn't that bad for me :D). The economy crisis will certainly have an impact on our daily lives but there are much more to look forward to. The competitions I'd be taking my students (who are the best team I've coached so far), working life and perhaps part time pursue of a masters degree, and tons of books which I plan to read... Economically, I think it is definitely going to be challenging year but besides economy, there are other aspects that impact the "greatness" of a year. Just be ready to keep a watchful eye on money matters, don't let the problems gloom your year, there's always many things to look forward to if you keep your eyes open.^^

Let us just be positive and as early as now, we'll try to prepare for the future, we can never really tell..but what would happen in the future greatly depends on how we act now..so let us act the right way now so the future will be better..but i am still being positive it will be a great year, we must all pray for that!

well, i have 100% hope that 2009 will be a brighter year not only for us but for the whole world. i am not anticipating that it will be a worst year because i believe in the power of the mind. that what you thought of will happen so i am looking at it as blessings filled year as ever. it has been tested that no matter how hard the economy is people still survive in this world. tedious but we are all survivors of our own lives. be cheerful! merry christmas!

i will say it will be worse. i think world is going through a tough patch now and 2009 will receive the worst of it. may be in coming years things get better. i reckon there is many problems to happen, economic crisis, terrorism ,may be war..

Economically I think 2009 will be a worse year at least to start off. I think things have to get worse in order to get better. Then maybe people will wake up and work together to make things better. Instead of placing blame everyone needs to take stock and strive to make this world a better place. I'm afraid its in our hands now.

It's going tp be better, because mot of 2008, I have not had a job. I will in 2009. I already have an interview at Target on Tuesday, December 30th. In the mean time, I will continue to look for jobs and try to get more interview. I will find something.

the way this year been i really don,t know things atr pretty bad here gm is closing iy door all those people well lose there jobs also kemet is laying off the food stanmp line is out in the street.people at food banks trying to feed there family.many people here will have no christmas.i think this year is bad and the worse is to come.we have taken family member in because they can,t pay there bills,

Well, if you will believe that year 2009 will be a bad luck for you then it might came true… you know… because you already set your mind that it is not going to be alright… as for me, I don’t want to think of that… It is NEW YEAR so it will a good year for me… It should be, I will make sure of that. Problems are always there but that is why there is the word “solution” or “way”… I just learn to live with it and action it in time. This year has not been so easy for us but we get through it, I am hoping to have a better life next year. I am praying that the people that I love will still be here next year especially my man. Don’t think negatively, think of the things that you can achieve for the coming years… no matter how they say the economy is falling.. well.. there is always news like that… but remember that there are still other people who can manage to live a happy life. I really hope that at least in my life 2009 will be better than 2008. For me this year was the worst by far. I passed for so many difficulties and stress that I just want to forget this year and pray that 2009 will be full of good things for me.

I really don't think about that at all! I'm not really bothered about what the governments say, I would rather think to myself that 2009 is going to be a fantastic year! You see, I'm always trying to focus on remaining positive despite what is going on in the world around me. By doing this I feel so much better and far more relaxed. Andrew

I always don't really care about whether the next year will be better or worse, because my life still goes on without these thoughts. I just hope I can go back to China next summer vacation. And I think if we haven't live that year, why do we have to pretend the next would be worse? You just gonna lose every hope without consciousness. I don't get those experts and economists, they just spread their words about the next year is worse. Do they ever think about their responsibility for their speeches? Maybe what they mean is the next year's economy will be worse or something like that. It' really confuse me because what I get from the top post is the next year would be bad, so let drop our hope and lost our lives...

I know, I heard about this to. I'm positive that I won't be very much affected by what's going on around me though. I believe that if we stay positive then we won't get sucked into this economic crisis. Just do your best and don't miss out on opportunities. Think before you act, and spend your money wisely. Finally, 2010 will be a good year, so whatever you do in 2009 should be in reparation for 2010!

i am an optimist and i look at 2009 to be a better year. let us not be too negative about it anyways it haven't even started yet. if we are looking at it to be negative then most likely it will be on your part. let us not preempt the future. let's not spoil it have fun and enjoy!!!

hello there... i'm also thinking the same thing... 2009 is going to be a bad year if the global recession continues without any other way to stop and return back the glory day... like you said, there will be low production, low supply, low productivity, low salary, a lot job cuts, no pay hike, and many more things will come down all together... i think this is the worst economic disaster ever in the world history... i hope we can survive it and all the governments around the world continue to do a lot support and bring back the economic to the upward trend... let's hope we see changes in 2009...

Financially, 2009 will be the worst year yet. I don't see how anything can pull us out of this recession. As far as business's going under, I think business's will continue to turn a profit. It's just the american people will continue to see hardships.

I believe that things will get worse in 2009. The stock market has gone up a bit, but that doesn't mean things are getting better. It will be at least 3 years before the recession ends. There is a 30% chance that we will have another depression, and if that happens, then it will probably be another decade before things will get better.
