i agree the 80's was the new era of music and many great songs that are still being remade by new artists came from that era. but there are no immitations for artists like bob segar, eagles, and too many to name

Yes, they are still being remade today, isn't it amazing. I still like the originals the best though.

Oh darn, I can only pick three?! I dearly love '80s music and play it constnatly in the house and car. The kids make fun of it all the time! Lets see, if I had to say three it would be: (1) Foreigner (2) Queen (3) The Police I didn't include Billy Joel, my favorite artist of all time because he spans so many decades!

I know what you mean, choosing only three makes it rather tough. There were so many influencial bands and musicians in the 80's. I too love Billy Joel, he will always be at the top of the list. Thank you for sharing your favorites. I really appreciate it.

Mmmm....picking three is difficult. I'd have to say Aerosmith, Ozzy and Bon Jovi. Of course there's also Metallica, which would tie with Aerosmith.

Hi! I guess I'd have to say Hall and Oates, Air Supply, and Foreigner. Of course I still listen to them today - those songs were popular during some the best times of my life! :-)

It is interesting how music makes us reflect on different times (good and bad) in our lives. It is such a part of our inner souls. I love Foreigner 4 the best. Air Supply was also a huge hit for me for a while. Glad you have good memories. Keep listening. Thank you for responding. I appreciate it.
