Do you chat on internet? How often do you chat? Do you like chatting?

Addimitedly I fall bebind of time.I do not chat on line often,as I do not konw how to get close to those people, even how to communicate with them. But i relise it is stupid not to make good use of the internet.So i try. but stil i fail. could you just give me some tips,or some advice. Thanks a lot.

Well I wouldn't recommend chatting on here for true friends (although it's still possible). People here are more concerned with making money than friends. I am not saying people here aren't helpful because they are, extremely but another idea is to find a specific forum about an interest or topic you are really interested in and start chatting. You can talk about a specific topic here but it will fall down the list quickly. Read peoples posts and you might agree with some of them. You may find that the same people keep replying to your chat so reply back, get a little personal with them. Quote their comment and make your own comment about them. If you don't fancy this, post a topic called "I am looking for online friends" or something along those lines and ask them to contact you via private messagaging (PM) on a forum. I posted on a teen chat forum many years ago and didn't have many friends even after being signed up for a year. I decided to make a topic asking if anyone would like to be my friend and many people replied. There was one person who I am still talking to on a daily (almost) basis today and she is really a good person. We send each other items through the post and talk about many topics.
