I made some soft gingersnaps for my mother to take to work with her for her coworkers last week. They turned out really good and very pretty to look at too. I had never made ginger snaps before, so I was glad they turned out well. Do you like ginger snaps? Have you ever made your own?

I do like ginger snaps but have never made them. My mother used to....and she made the ones you cut out with a spam can? I think they are called Aunt something but they are like a gingerbread cookie...then you ice them....very good!

Those sound good. I've never really cared for the store bought ginger snaps because they're crunchy and the ginger is a bit too strong but soft ones sound yummy. I made gingerbread men for the first time a few weeks ago. they turned out soft and really tasty. they were eaten up pretty quick :-)

Never made any. My hubby sometimes brings a bag of them home. I cannot say I am too fond of them. Soft gingersnaps sound interesting. I might give those a try.

I think I'd like soft gingersnaps. I don't like the crunchy kind they sell in stores. I'm not crazy about crunchy anything really, I have overly sensative teeth.

my son does not like the store bought ones either, but he really likes these. I am going to have to make them again soon. I just need to get more molasses.

I would probably like your recipe for the soft ones. I like ginger snaps, but I do not understand why they have to be so hard. I guess they were made with dipping in mind. The soft ones that you are talking about, I could probably deal with, since I do like ginger cake.

Not sure what ginger snaps are, but if they are anything like ginger bread, then I probably like them!
