that might have happened to you. Maybe a New home, a new child, Marriage, Job change, etc. or has it just been a Great yr. overall? I know for many of us looking back, there are things that we wish we could have done differently or changed, but overall we need to remember we are in charge of what happens from here on out as well.
2008 looking back has been a Great yr. for my husband and I. We have learned quite a few things overall, but I feel these were to help us grow Spiritually and to get us closer to one another and learn to Trust God a little more. Luckily for us the things that have happened have been minor compared to some yrs. and that is good. We both have the same jobs, same home, etc. so God is great in that. Just have had many curveballs and obstacles we have learned to overcome as well.
So how was your yr? and what are you thankful for as the yr. draws to a close?

We had a good year financially. The best of 2008 came in October when we became grandparents again. Our other grandkids live in other states so our little new baby was a real blessing. They live about 20 min. from us so we can visit anytime.

I'm thankful to have met some nice people like Ivy. I'm glad that the community choice act (a piece of legislation I have worked on since I was 19) seems to have a good future. Barack Obama says he'll pass it, and I'm like, "Hallelujah". I'm glad for all the people doing social justice work in the world on both issues I work on and don't work on. I'm glad for my friends and family.

Of course, everything but mainly health along with a walk with Jesus and the family is healthy and well. I am thankful for all things and no matter how small. They are all important and I am thankful to God and happy that prayers are being answered and good things are happening.

I am thankful to have a supportive and caring husband, friends I have online and offline. This year isn't really good financially, but I have seen and heard many truths unveiled and that's the positive side about it. I do have my worries about money but lately it's gotten lesser. I don't put much value on money anymore aside from means to pay bills and buy what we need. I have no problem giving up worldly belongings if necessary to survive. I am not looking for revenge of what happened in the past anymore, something or someone more powerful has taken care of it. I still need to work on achieving inner peace. There is still pain left I still have a long road to go. but at least I know I am on the right path. I hope for brighter year ahead for everyone.

I am thankful that I still have the same job that I have had for the last 13 years. Especially when so many have lost their jobs this past year. I try to find something daily to be thankful. No matter how big or small. Even though I wrecked my car in November and still haven't found one to replace it. I've had blessings of transportation to and from work and to church by coworkers and members of the church. God told me the day after I wrecked the car, to slow down (in life) and be thanful in everything.

I am mostly just thankful that all my family are still happy and healty. My grandparents health wasn't so good for a while there plus with all this economy stuff we have had to struggle just a little. So I am grateful we still have a home and family. Hoping for nothing more than the same thing by 2010.

I was grateful because n large comet/asteroid/meteor have impacted us yet. I dreaded Aphophis which is going to hit Earth in 2036. Redempt your souls now to (whoever your God's name) to be forgiven and not to go to hell.
But honestly, I thank God for giving me life, my food, my shelter all I offer to him.

I'm just thankful to be alive I guess! There are things that I want to do in 2009, at least that's the plan. As money is an issue I don't know whether these things will take place or not. I am trying to remain positive though. I am a spiritual kind of person I guess! I speak to the Universe if that makes any sense! Anyway, have a nice New Year. Andrew

I'm very happy and I will go into 09 with a new attitude knowing that there is so much more than I can accomplish. Just happy to know that my living is not in vain. YES!!!!

Well, 2008 has been a lucky year for me. I have gained a lot from this year. Not only financialy but emotionally as well. I am very thankful for such. I do hope that next year will also be the same and perhaps even more. Despite having some problems along the way, I was able to make it through. Best to you and Happy New Year!

Hello There! There are lots of things that I should be thankful in my life this year ending... Looking back, my life is pretty okay, it sucks sometimes but I manage to get through it.
I am thankful for my family, we are still together despite of all the trials we are facing even now. My relationship with my family especially with my brother and sisters then cousin are getting better everyday. Lastly, my Mother is still okay and that is what I am really thankful for.
Looking back, I am really happy because of my man... my boyfriend, I am so much in love with him... hehehe. And that is another thing to be thankful for.. for having someone special in your life aside from my family. I want to have someone I can call my own.. and I believe I got that!
Other things, careers, plans etc... it is not yet complete but I gotta next year to complete all that... lolz... Happy New Year! And Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

It has been a very enlightening year for me. I have learned so much about myself and what I want for the rest of my life. I have put into place some very important changes that not only change my life but those of several other people as well. For the better I think. I have come across some very valuable bits of knowledge and have met some very interesting people. It has been a very eventful year and I hope that 2009 is just as eventful if not more.

I'm just thankful that my family is still together and healthy. I'm happy too because i'm more closer now to my dad than before. I'm thankful because i finally got a DSL connection this year. I'm thankful for everything good or bad that has happened to me because it made me a lot more mature and ready to take on things the future will lay on me.

I am really thankful to God for His guidance through this year. By His mercy, I can make some good money and I still can be in my hometown with my family and concentrate on church management thing. I am sure I can't do like this for next year, I have to find a real job and move to another town, so I am very glad I can have great year to spent this year.
