I know people who are elder than 40 were raise up without TV and they are doing fine. They didn't miss any wonderful thing in their life.
I see many kids dig in TV all the day. What's so good in the TV? Nothing in general. Mostly stupid stuffs.
Can we remove TV from kid's life and let them grow up naturely?

I believe that along with everything else, tv should have limitations. I think that parents should monitor what thier children are watching but not take away all together. There are alot of educational programs that children could benifit from. I believe that the internet could be much more damaging to a child.

I would want my kids to still watch some TV shows. But before I would permit them, I have to know and check what shows are they watching. I believe there are still quality and good shows around. So, I'd let them watch those shows to entertain and teach them lessons at the same time.

I don't think removing TV from kid's life is a good idea because there are many things the child can learn from TV. True, there are many bad and negative things to learn from TV as well and that is where the role of parents come in. They need to monitor and filter the appropriate content, and only allow the children to watch beneficial TV channels such as Discovery channel and National Geography.
