Disclaimer : This discussion may get gross at time ,I sincerely apologize ,however this was unavoidable.
I went to this health clinic and they asked me to pee in a container. Nothing wrong with that. My problem however was one the size if the container and two, where do they expect me to get urine from on such short notice.
Firstly the size of the container was just ridiculous, how do they expect me to hold that small container and get fluid in it without spilling aaaaaaaarghhhhhh!!!!.I cant help but wonder how women deal with this situation but then again women have always been very skillful beings and well I must admit to have little knowledge of such matters.
Next the time factor, I must have stood there for a good fifteen minutes before I could even a few drops out and with the guy always knocking on the door asking if I was finished ------just so pressuring, I don’t understand if he think I have a factory in there manufacturing urine. I think they warn us to travel with extra urine just in case, that way you can bring some from your house or something.
Pleas tell me if you have had a similar experience and how did you deal with it ?

him knocking on the door didn't help at all i'm sure. they could have told u to bring a sample in when u came. i wouldn't have appreciated him beating on the door. would probably have told him about it.

yes it didnt help and if they had I would brought some along. But wait till you hear what I was doing there,I was there to check my eyes and alos chnage my glasses .Its one of those muti functional clinics and so I was quite surprised when he said pee in this ,so much so that I reminded him I was there to do an eye test to which he explained that they need to check for diabetes as these can affect your eyes too.

that's so true Ronny. Doctor's are now being vigilant where this disease is concern so even if you have a cut they will be checking for this. I myself will be changing my glasses too and so will be expecting to do this as well.

Every woman that has had a baby will tell you.We always have galleon of wee stored up bearing in mind the baby is normally doing a back flip on your bladder, usually have to much wee and it does not always let you know when it is going to start.Gross but true, they only need a little drop you did not have to worry.I think it must be different for men.How embarassing.

i had to do it about two weeks ago for two times because i was sick and they want to test my urine... so i have no choice but to do it... i find it a little bit annoying as well but i have no big problem doing it... and fortunately the nurse is not pressurizing me to do it quickly... so i can take my own sweet time until i am finished... take care and have a nice day...

being a woman I don't understand why it would be difficult to get some urine into to a small cup for a man since you have a better control of your urinating interment. I have to do this all the time because of the medication I take. It is much harder for a woman to control where the urine goes. It is always a good idea to drink plenty of water before seeing a doctor at any time because you don't know when they will want a sample. They only want such a small amount. It is difficult to go when your under pressure. next time try turning on the water in the sink.

Have a tap running in the background is always a sure fire way of getting me to pee.
Moving on the problem of size - yes, a problem if is a test tube they are expecting you to aim for. If you have a problem with a cup then you are just bragging! haha
However, sometimes it is a medical problem. There was a chap who had such an advanced case of a social disease that his 'old man' was perforated all over and every time he peed it would spray everywhere except out the end.
He solved this problem by consulting a piccolo player who taught him how to hold it! haha. Trouble is you then need a nurse to hold the cup!

Hahahahah I am laughing so hard ,I think I may die. This is the second time I am hearing the running tap suggestion but still not sure how that will help but I have resolved to try.
With regards to the suze issue- I shouldnt have said cup ,it wasnt a cup it was a container smaller than a cup so I am not bragging.
lol never heard of a social disease that perforates only old men lol and also why is he using a old mand to pee ,maybe thet is is problem lol.
Maybe Ill try asking a nurse to help me with the holding of the cup ...might just improve my aim ....wont use a piccolo player unless its a piccolo plating nurse
Thanks for your response,I really enjoyed this one

That is so funny, and yes, I have had to do it every time I fell pregnant. I don't think we women (as you put it} are any better at it. In fact, I seem to remember missing the container on several occasions and hitting my hand. Aaargh is right. What an unholy mess. As for having an abundant supply of urine? It usually helps to run the tap while you're waiting for your supply to build up. Can take a while though. The people on the other side of the door just have to learn to be patient.

Oh I absolutely hate having to pee in those little containers. And when I pregnant with my kids I hated it even worse. With my tummy growing it became difficult to pee in these things, yet I somehow did it, though it wasn't easy. And having to do it at every doctor's appoint was a pain in the butt. UGH! It drove me crazy!

I remember when I was a young mother, first time being pregnant, and I would have to give UA's every few weeks. They gave me this tiny tiny jar the whole to pee in was a little bit bigger than a pen you write with. I tried and tried not to pee on my hand but when your as big as a house, your teetering on your toes to get your hand in place with this tiny jar it was very hard not to miss my hand lol. After a few of those kinds of jars I finally asked for a big paper cup and I would use that then pour it into the tiny jar they wanted me to pee in. YUCK I am so thankful not to have to do that anymore.

lol Ronny, well why is it a disgusting event when this fluid is coming from within you. Well I don't scorn myself. The other day I follow Norris to the clinic and he had the same experience he was saying that he don't have any within him so I said by the time you reach the bathroom you will and indeed it happen.
Happy and Prosperous New Year

I been through with this situation before.
You are right it's a bit annoying when somebody pressure
you to do something when it's not time yet.
But drinking water before your check up may help.

Its not really a big deal for me peeing in the cup except for if I can't go at all. Once a nurse told me they would have to cath me to get the urine. Well the thought of being cath sure scared some pee up out of me then

i have been into such situation before and they give tubes here to fill it with some urine.however they should have asked you have a glass of water before going ahead that would have made your job easier.am sorry that i am laughing about how you felt that time, hope there's no need for that in future.
