Going to the Ice Cream Shop When It's Freezing Outside

It's been very windy and cold here. Winter is definitely here. For some reason though I was tempted to buy ice cream at Baskin Robbins the other day. The wind wipping around my car changed my mind though. I should have just went anyway since I had the craving. Will you still go to the ice cream shops to get ice cream even though it's Winter and freezing outside?

We don't go to the ice cream shop, but I buy Ice Cream all the time. I just bought some Caramel Delight Ice Cream yesterday which we eat soon.

ice cream - I don't like to eat ice cream in cold winter, especially when it is freezing cold, but I eat it in summer and autumn when it is not like winter.
Hello Shar. I don't eat ice cream in cold winter, but I do eat ice creams in other seasons once in a while when I happen to pass a KFC or McDonald's or some other ice cream shops.

Hi there Shar my friend. I don't think there is anything wrong to wish to eat ice cream any time of the year but when it is cold outside i would, of course, eat it indoors of my WARM home. If somebody eats it outside a cold, windy day of the winter, then in my opinion he has a serious problem :)

Oh yes, even in bad weather. I just went to Dairy Queen the other day for cookie dough, Butterfinger and Oreo Blizzards. They are the bomb! Baskin Robbins is great too. But, the blizzards had it down this time.

Do you eat hot food in the summer? Of course you do. Just because something is cold doesn't mean you can't eat it if it's cold outside. There is no bad weather for ice cream, it is good anytime of the year. Besides, if you get some ice cream to eat in the winter, you aren't going to stand out in the cold and eat it are you? Your gonna bring it home where it's nice and warm, so the cold from the ice cream aint gonna bother ya a bit. Eat all the ice cream ya want! Regardless of the weather :)

You are so right. Sometimes it's just nice to go out and have some "me" time away from the kids to buy my ice cream cone and eat it in the car.

I actually got some frozen custard withe the kids the other night when we were out. We ran to Wal-mart and got a few things, swung by Little Caesars and grabbed a few pizza's, and went through the drive thru at Andy's Frozen Custard. The kids were eating pizza and frozen custard in the car on the way home.

Ice cream doesn't look that good to me when it is freezing outside. I was in the store last night looking at it, but the thought of bringing it home when it was like 20 degrees and windy wasn't too exciting. It isn't that warm in my house either. I keep it at about 67 degrees.

Usually I don't buy ice cream in the winter. Not even from the store. I look at ice cream as a summer time thing. When it's really hot out, its something to cool you off.

Ice Cream is for all seasons. I used to eat it every day and I still would if I could but I'm on a diet. In my opinion,k Ice cream is the best thing you can eat. Any flavor is great (although I lean toward vanilla and rocky road). To paraphrase Will Rogers, I never met an Ice Cream I didn't like.

Aha, I don't really know ice cream is very tempting at times, but winter? I never tried that before and I don't think I would especially when it's freezing cold outside. So yea...I don't think I would go outside, go all the way to an ice cream place and buy ice cream, I mean whats the point? Ice cream lasts only for so long. If you would want to have ice cream in winter on a freezing cold day, then I think your just crazy, aha.
